If BYU’s defense doesn’t set awod and the byjew up with short short short fields at least 3 times a game and the special teams doesn’t score awod and the byjew can’t score
That pick the BYjew threw at the end of the 2nd quarter was the worst pass I’ve seen, on what was supposed to be a simple back shoulder fade route.. that td would have changed the outcome of the game. It just goes to show even in short field situations, he is not reliable.
The offense from last year reared its ugly head again. The offense has been playing tight for a while now. Hopefully this absolute crap show, coupled with the result, will get them to loosen up and play more freely on offense. BTW, Jake should never throw another fade. Just take that out of the playbook. This was his worst performance of the year. He didn’t give the receivers a chance on far too many throws. Checking into that option play on third and goal at the end of the game, with time outs available, left me dumbfounded. The fourth down call, should have been the first down call. All in all, the offense did not come to play, while the defense was as close to flawless against the KU explosive offense as they could have been.
No!!!! Roderick has for years had a problem with play calling and having his teams prepared to play. This isn't the first game he's personally blown! Calla spade a spade.
I recall for years media and some fans defending tuiaki when he consistently sucked. Well, look whats happened since the correct decision was FINALLY made. Media gets to close to these coaches personally and can't bring themselves to admit a guy has to go. Many fans just wear blue goggles. Roderick is and has been a big problem for byus offense for years now.
