Was one of my favorite players. I always think he would have been 10 times the player if Joey was there beside him for another season or two.

Always felt bad for Mullen. His drug use was 100% because he wanted to be healthy not because he was a cheat.

I never really rated Jarrod Mullen to be fair. He were a solid first grader but never a superstar or owt like that.

Mate…. He did not play for Western Suburbs Magpies.
More like West Newcastle Rosellas. Do you know anything?

      According to his playing history...
"Mullen played his first rugby league game aged seven for the Taree-Old Bar Lifesavers (now known as Taree Panthers). Two years later (after a brief stint playing soccer), Mullen relocated to Newcastle, where he continued his junior career with the *Western Suburbs club* . "
Do a search on "The Wests Group" and you'll find that "Our portfolio includes registered clubs Wests New Lambton (Western Suburbs (N’cle) Leagues Club)"
So yes, He did play for a club known as "Western Suburbs"
Which brings up the question.. Do you know anything?
