you are using the Vector incorrectly. you need to equip it with select fire and keep it on 2 round burst. select fire alters the way the gun works. it acts as a foregrip and increases the centerspeed of the gun so it is more accurate and on only the Vector it also acts as the old rapid fire attachment and increases the rate of fire by 30% from 940 to 1250. this effectively makes the Vector almost statistically identical to the Chicom CQB except even better because they both have 1250 rpm with no burst delay, but the Vector is even better because it becomes more accurate with the centerspeed increase from the select fire attachment and the vector becomes as accurate as the M27, SWAT 556, M8A1, FAL, SMR or Peacekeeper. The Vector is good at all ranges this way and can kill fast at any distance - even in it's 6 hit kill range where it can kill across the map accurately where the Chicom cannot. the Vector becomes similar to the FAL/SMR - they 2-3 hit kill at 600rpm whereas the Vector 4-6 hit kills at 1250 RPM. these guns kill in 2-3 taps of your trigger. you just have to learn to tap your trigger at the correct time to fire at the 1250 RPM. the Vector effectively dominates the best 2 weapons in the game when it shoots first. the only gun that can kill faster is the KAP40/B23R in their 3 hit kill ranges and the AN94 when both of the first 2 bullets hit in its 3 hit kill range. if you don't use select fire on the Vector is is essentially just an inferior MP7 with less ammo, less range and slower reloads.

BO2 was a laggy messy slot machine where skill did not matter it was not popular in 2013 even if it is now and games where i shoot half a mag into someone only for the bullets not to register because of lag compensation are not fun for me

the vector is not overshadowed by the MP7 - the MP7 is almost worse in every way except it has 3 meters more range and 4 more bullets in the magazine. but the MP7 only fires at 940 RPM while the Vector can fire at 1250 RPM like the Chicom and Skorpion evo except the Vector is more accurate with a higher center speed than both of them and has more ammo. select fire completely changes the way the Vector works and makes it the best SMG in the whole game

Select fire? LOL ok imma try it someday. I do use it only with bursts guns like the M8A1 rarely though
You do get more ammo with most smgs. Its to try to offset some of the increased ammo required to secure kills tho.
Vector was a great gun just over shadowed by the msmc and the mp7
