Thanks man! Yeah, it is 😅 Usually the river I clean runs dry for a couple of months in the summer time which is awesome for cleaning it, but this year we got so much rain which makes it unlikely that it will happen this year. So I have to resort to new tactics. Next time I'm trying Stand up paddling(also not very effective) :D
Congrats on the wetsuit! Also, hope your friend isn't too hurt and recovers quickly. 🤕 Would you guys ever consider getting a magnet to collect the metal in the water too? Thank you for all that you guys do!
Ouch. Gute Besserung. Wie fies. Aber abgesehen davon total spannend! Unterwasser sieht ja irgendwie fast alles gleich aus - gute Augen habt ihr. Danke für euren Einsatz.
Awesome! I still need to add a wetsuit to my Trashaholic gear. Haha Time for you guys to get your Tetanus shots.😊 Stepping on sharp objects is never a fun experience, I’ve seen a couple people get messed up from stepping on sharp objects in murky waters..
I'm surprised that you as a long time Trashaholic don't already have one :D I can recommend it, it's a lot of fun as long as you don't step on a sharp object. Tetanus shots are up to date fortunately :) Definitely a necessaty for serious trash pickers!
@@pickuptrash Paul, I wouldn’t purposely swim in any body of water near me.. Maybe an hour drive from here there is some swim -able waters. Glad you guys didn’t step on any bombs or machine guns. 😎
@@TakingtheTRASHOUTwithAaron Uhh, that sucks. We are very lucky here to have an ok water quality here. Only problem is all the manure from the farms here, so it´s better not to get anything in your mouth 😅 At first I thought "kind of looks like the fin of a bomb" (That was only a few weeks after the mortar find). But I now believe it might be some kind of anker from an old bridge for a wooden pole but I´m not sure.
Thank you! It depends on how much we find and if I'm alone. If we just find two or three Glas/plastic/metal cans I don't bother with recycling them. If we find more of than that we usually open another bag specifically for that type and I bring them to a recycling facility afterwards :)
Great work guys! This has really inspired me as well to go out and pick up trash in my neighborhood. Keep up the great work and the cool videos!
Thanks a lot! That's really awesome to hear. That's why I started this channel :) We will! 💪🏼
Respect! This diving for rubbish is some next-level stuff, and the effort per piece of rubbish collected must be ridiculous - I mean, I know it is.

But also a lot of fun, that's important too 👍🏻

@@pickuptrash manure!! That is actually causing a lot of issues with our coral reefs. So many problems!!!
At least everyone can: Pick up trash!!😁
Hope your friend is okay!
Yeah, fortunately everything worked out and he's fine again :)
Didn't know you bothered uploading this! 🤣
Of course 😅
Great clean up guys. Just one question Do you recycle ALL Metal cans, Plastic Bottles and Glass bottles You pick up on your litter picking days????
Thank you! It depends on how much we find and if I'm alone. If we just find two or three Glas/plastic/metal cans I don't bother with recycling them. If we find more of than that we usually open another bag specifically for that type and I bring them to a recycling facility afterwards :)
Hope your friend is okay? That is what happens when people throw trash in the water!
Yeah, he doing good now. The wound is healed now, but he had to get antibiotics :)
Hope your friend 's foot is okay. Please be careful next time.
Yeah, he´s fine now thankfully :)
