Hello Cara, I'm happy to have found you. I was googling mascaras. I'm tormented! I have average lashes but I want to layer them. I just learned that you use a volumising mascara first, then quickly use a volumising one. I then was going to research the best of each type. Then, and my bad luck, they come out with the false lash effect ones!! I am actually a qualified beauty therapist with 3 diplomas from ITEC (I have a real degree too Lol I only did the ITEC course for myself, but we learned very little about cosmetics because our tutor was useless, you won't believe this but she never even did a make up demonstration! She left us to our own devices! Plus, most of the course is a lot of first year nursing ie. In depth study of the skin etc. Anyway, I digress. Could you please tell me, what are the best mascaras here, for length and one for volume too please? I want to layer them but the first step, in a 3 step layering is use a curling mascara! I read that Benefit curling one is the best. I will order it, when it's back in stock. So, you use the curling one, then volume one then the lengthing one!! My question is, how much of each property do the flash lash effect ones have because I want to use one of those and later it with others. I can't find the answer. Have you any idea please? I mean, if they are more on the volumising side then, why would you use a volumising mascara too? Or a lengthening one? Or would you just use the false lash effect one first and chance using the volume, then lengthening one anyway please? Did you read that L'Oréal telescopic mascara was voted the world's 2nd most purchased mascara and the best lengthening one ? I'm going to get it, to see what the fuss is about. I read that YSL is the best false lash effect one. I don't know the best volumising one is. I HATE mascara because it's virtually impossible to pick the best one, even if you can afford the dearest ones. I hate paying big money for them, because I hate the idea of it, when you don't know if a 5 euro one will do the same or even better job! Why throw away money too? Have you heard of the 3 step layering? Curl , volume and lengthen, but I just wanted to see if using a false lash type as step one, would work too. But if you really want a dramatic look I’d recommend the sculpted volume one: amzn.to/2Hr6aZU and then use L’Oréal Telescopic for lengthening/separating: amzn.to/394m1cg I’ve used both of those for years and my lashes always look great with either of them. Not sure how long its been out but i ordered it on Ulta and i should be receiving it tomorrow in the mail 💌 im ready to see how much it changes my mascara. Ive been using grande lash eyelash serum for a year. But a few months ago i feel like they stopped growing. And started going threw a new cycle. But its been hard for me to get a mascara that i can use for my daily makeup routine.
Honestly all of their mascaras are really good ❤️ And that’s normal for your lashes to go through growth cycles. You might want to consider doing a maintenance cycle for a month and then starting a new round so that your lashes have a bit of a break and respond better to the serum.
