It’s been alright but this isn’t the Secret Invasion I wanted. At least Civil War adapted the key idea of that book which was Cap vs Ironman.

Of the 12 primary cast members of this show who are in a majority of episdes, 5 of them are black. That gives them 41% representation.
So, considering black people are only 12% of the US population, black people are represented nearly 4x more in Marvel than they actually exist in America. Sounds like an equity & inclusion problem we'll need to correct by recasting Nick Fury as a white guy.
EDIT: Obviously, that will make the show worse. But we need to recognize that equity and inclusion is more important than quality.

The writers ruined 2 great Black male characters in 1 outing. Great job Disney. Shows how much you care about Diversity.

@@nomanCyclewala Fury is relegated to being a broken shell. He has been playing catch up with Gravik(weak, horrible villian). His espionage exploits are overrated thru his use of the Skrulls(was originally ruined thru Captain Marvel portrayal) and he mentions the stereotypical "Single mother" stereotype of black existence in America despite a recent study that proving that Black men are not the dead beat fathers that Black women and White Liberals make out to be. There are several videos on RUclips commenting on this study. Rhodey being a Skrull is sad as well. Hopefully the real Rhodey will be revealed and redeemed before the series ends.

@@chitownmo i mean for rhodey it makes sense cause hes a skrull. also i do agree that fury is supposed to be this strong character and they are trying to portray that hes not as good as hes older now. probably wasnt the best way to go about it.

@@nomanCyclewala In the Marvel canon, Nick Fury(both Black and White versions), is an exceptionally skilled combatant and espionage agent. So far in the MCU, this has been eluded to but never seen. In Captain Marvel, he was made out to be an average agent looking to make a career change before encountering Captain Marvel. In Secret Invasion, his legend is built upon a lie, not of his own exploits, but on his clandestine relationship(behind his government's back) with a few members of extraterrestrial shape shifting refugees(in canon a might empire), who were only written into the canon recently with no prior mention as being his benefactors, while claiming he was a world saving hero. The character has been horribly written and been relegated to being a foil piece in his own series.
