Burnley fan here. What you will get with Barnes is 110% effort. He'll never be a prolific goalscorer but he'll score some great goals and important ones (look for him to score when you play Ipswich next season!). He's a better footballer than he is generally given credit for and he is the #1 when a bit of shithousery is required :) Good luck for next season!
hello Burnley fan congratulations for winning the title and promotion what is Ashley Barnes is quality can I hold that ball for Norwich i’ve only seen him play a Carrow Road against us and you beat us on that day
Watch him put the Blackburn keeper in the back of the net when he scored against them at the Turf Absolutely Brilliant. 😂🤣 Thankyou Ashley Barnes, we wish him Luck.
Steve Daytona ...Cheers for the info and insight. On Harvey Barnes ..hopefully he will get some goals .v the blue noses ...will be good ..Good luck for nxt season ..your team plays some good football . .Canary girl .Melanie 33 💛💚
So this looks to be leaning towards a Barnes-Sargent arrwowhead, with the much more experienced Barnes carving out a path for JS ? - Barnes surely is not a long term investment of course, as he is night on his twilight years as a top first team player - but might be the juggernaut, safebreaker to 'do a job' for a championship side
@@bensmith1939 Yea, I think Pukki is his own person and clearly has zero interest in being a manager / captain type, just prefers lowkey and turn, move, score. Which is what he'll probably go to do in Finland for a couple more years, where he is obviously as famous as Ronaldo and will be worshipped back there. Maybe he will go back to his boyhood club, KTP, or before that, HJK, where he he had a score rate of a goal every other game.
@@MyFootballWriter Yea, Sargent looks like a great striker to be fair that can go onward ! Of course, Barnes being a west country lad, will love the 'east country' as well, as his roots are in Bath and Plymouth. Speaking of Plymouth, have you seen Mumba's goals for them ?! Looks like he is a Plymouth legend there. Surely he will be coming back and getting a reckoning in the side >?
We need some double hard bastards in quick. Young or old doesnt matter. Our lot keep melting when faced with any mild adversity, like conceding a goal at home to Blackpool. Unable to get any sort of result without the 'backbone' of our team - McClean and Hanley. How have we fallen so far so fast...
@@jackblue4078 Ivan Toney, Jamie vardy, even grant Holt were playing in league one before being given a shot at a higher level, they didn't turn out too bad
No replacement for the GOAT but a different mindset in terms of leadership + teamwork ethic, much better than some yung'uns from glitzy teams like Marquinhos or Gilmour, will be good for Sargent and potentially Idah
@@MyFootballWriter Well, I think maybe part of the reason "the club" have not spoken to the media much, is that since the end of Farke or Smith, the tone from some of the local media, is to put everyone on the back foot or ask: "the fans want a PL team how are you going to do it" over again and again - or other sort of rhetorical questions. It looks to me that Wagner is not really appreciating being asked about stuff he was nothing to do with, again and again. It all adds to an unnesscarry demandingness, seriousness and intenseness or kind of accusory tones - and Webber's reaction probably would be: "how long is a piece of string?"
What. A. Joke!!! Keep celebrating mediocrity and that is the best you will get. I’ll look forward to a relegation battle next season if this is the first of many pathetic signings!

I'm really happy about it, we were soft this season and lacked a lot of leadership once one or two were injured.
Sounds like exactly what we've been crying out for! Good luck in the PL!
@@Vesividad86 Spot on mate.
@@MyFootballWriter thank you mat I will do update for you every day I am a striker hoping to get a football chance at Norwich
Hello ol’ boy! Good to see you again.
Hello sir! Hope you're well!
Burnley fan here!! Brilliant signing for you won’t be prolific but will definitely put in a shift look after him!!!
Be nice to see someone who can consistently put a shift in, we’ve definitely been lacking that.
Yes Burnley FC supporter here and if u guys do sign Barnes he will help the team in many different ways........ anyway cheers Lad .....

Ashley not Harvey, affectionately known as Bashley. He will do you proud I'm sure. Good luck
We could do with a few complete shithouses, aside from other things we're lacking that "bastard" streak. Let's see what he can do 🔰
In a more direct Wagner system than what we've been used to seeing it seems like shithousery will be vital!
100%
He will bring that in bucket loads. He's the ultimate shithouse 😂

Good analysis but still can't help but be underwhelmed. Time will only tell.
I think the disappointment of the past two seasons will make anything seem underwhelming but I definitely get what you mean Andrew.
Top player , you get what it says on the tin 🤔
Exactly what we need!
Clarets fan here. Barnes will be perfect for you. He gives 100% and gets 100% out of those around him and he knows how to get out of that league
The idea of elevating those around does excite me.

@Norwich Talk - please do a Transfer video of players who u think NCFC should sell this summer 2023 ??
On its way!
Hoping this means Idah goes out on loan....but I doubt that will happen
I think the loan boat has sailed, if we were a PL outfit I think it would be more likely, but no way whilst we're in the EFL.
Even Ashley Barnes ...ha ha !! 💚💛
😅
Tzolis and idah put out on loan or sell
Lol, I'm worried I'll get carried away on Tzolis in keep, loan or sell!

Not a bad shout that he can almost mentor Sargent. He’d be a great person to learn from!
He can mentor both Sarge and Idah imo better than what Pukki would.

True. I can't say I've ever thought we were hard since Lambert Era. No better way of phrasing that, oof.
I’d be looking at some top league one players, plenty of diamonds to be found.
They're playing in league one for a reason.

Part of the effort to replace him, I think.
Wow whats the point he is older than Pukki the man who just left
