Brit - Hazmats are practically useless against NPCs, it's barely better than being naked. NPCs don't take hit location into account, instead they sum the armor value of everything you're wearing and divide it by 6 to get the damage reduction value. So even a prim kit can be up to 3 times as good as a hazmat and a full kit is five times as good as a hazmat when going up against NPCs (including turrets). Hope you see this, it can make a huge difference on PVE servers. Love your content, hope you're having a blast making it!
A few tips for the Hex server: Claim kits! You were looking for a hatchet and there is a Tools kit that includes one. Also Outpost sells jackies and chainsaws for scrap. In the /shop some of the things you were looking for (ladders for ex) are for sale in the Shops section (from the server) and are sometimes cheaper than player offers in the Stock Market section. When you are using survey charges to find a virtual quarry, you dont have to walk around. You can stand in one spot and find different things. Enjoying the channel!
Hi there! I started playing the server because of this video and I really like it, but it's really hard to enjoy because my fps is always around 35-45, which causes me lots of lag and I also keep crashing all the time... Any tips how it would be possible to solve this issue? Settings are almost on minimum. My specs are: RTX 2060, I5-9400F and 16GB DDR4 RAM.
@zent4x.551 not sure if will fix your issue but my i9-13900k keeps crashing on unity and unreal games as of late. I downloaded Intel extreme tuner from the Intel website and set mycore multiplier lower that in was ( som from x58 to x56 and other from x55 to x53 ) and that stops crashes
@@zent4x.551you might want to turn down a bunch of detailing graphics settings, helps a bit. Like all of the not-so-important graphics like trees, water grass n stuff and shadows

Tips for raiding on pve, (if you can build on the raid island) it's good to build a little raid base with a couple of turrets maybe a couple of spotlights for when it gets dark and a bed just build it as close to the raid zone as possible, helps cover you when the bots spawn back in and easy spawn, don't forget to destroy it once your done. Also from all the raid plugins I've tried for some reason expert raids seem to be the most cost effective raids, even have easier base designs to hard ones not sure why 🤷
PvE servers are extremely fun to play. Hex does a damn good job with his server. Hex and his admins are on the ball a solid 95% of the time. The only issue with most PvE servers is when the overload it with plug-ins. Especially the Skins plug-in. They can cause some serious if there are too many.

35:00 when you're stuck in the compound like that, you can just take a 5 minute break to piss/get a drink, and the base will despawn after 5 minutes allowing you to just walk out. The compound walls part of that plugin is scuffed, I always disabled it on our servers.
I dont play rust at all anymore, but i definetly recommend this server (hex rust) if u want to take a break from the pvp while at the same time keeping some form of "high intensity" gameplay thru bosses etc
Little tip for this server don’t learn refine materials in skill tree because you loose the bonus on the final hit of a node, as good as it is getting the refind metal and sulphur it’s surprising how much you loose out on 👍
Scavenger>Barrel Smasher, Medical> Bandages. Break barrel in 1 hit with any tool and bandages increased healing. Most important /st perks. Also use your backpack more. You can even keybind it to like X which I believe isn't used by anything or even numpad keys like - = × + for example

If u dont use a jackhammer or chainsaw you'd get way more outta those perks just fyi but there are seperate ones for the mining and tree farming use a salvage ice pick and a salvage ax and you will get loads more😊
Please do a video on taking the heli named “eve” for the battery, it is used to update your virtual quarries to level 5. You need to kill Gus in /buytank to get level 4 tho still
You should try this rusted through server it’s 100x + better loot it’s crazy and the patrol lands on the ground and you can blow it up and get elite crates but you need to destroy it fast bc if you don’t you get less elite crates and loot the scientist at excav I do that all the time to get ammo
if this is the hex rust server and if they didnt change the way raids work lockers always have something and its bugged on the roof and furnaces have stuff in them. and also try /vq or /vr and try getting qurries that way because there a lot better than giant excav and hqm/sulfur qurries
pve servers are so broken, in the vehicle skill you can get 100% damage reduction on your vehicles, woodcutting give you a lot of charcoal and exp, medical you can get double heal from bandages imunity from fire etc
I know that bc I went to a PvE server then I went out to get more wood and forgot to put a lock on my chest and on my doors so then I came back and stuff was gone
Britt use rp to buy hlmg 1-2 shots per barrel and 3 shots for sighns and if u use hv ammo it's 1shot for barrel and 2shots for sighns I make crap tons on 15x modded server just farming the road this way

bandages increased healing is 100% useless lol. Its a pve server just make medkits/spam meds, why would you ever be using bandages

Selling HQM, and Cloth are great ways to get some RP on Hex Servers.
