I think, ADHESION is predominantly mediated by collagen via Gp Ia/IIa ( Integrin α3β2 ) and by vWF via Gp Ib-IX-V complex or simply Gp Ib. ACTIVATION include both the above receptors & PAR1 (Thrombin receptor) & P2Y12 (ADP receptor) AGGREGATION is mediated via Gp IIb/IIIa receptor (for Fibrinogen)... ???
Probably he ment adhesion to other platelets, that are already bound to endothelium. But in that case this should be called cohesion, since platelet adheres to another platelet.
