Music: Osman Zeki Üngör
Adopted: 1921, by the Grand National Assembly, two years before the founding of the Republic of Turkey.
First anthem I learned that was not of my Nation or Territory, I found it Scary and Magestic at the same time. One of the most amazing and profound anthem in the world one that shakes anyone to the core.

Turks have a very deep history. They were people who crossed the Great Wall of China with 400,000 people before the Roman Empire occupied the British Isles. I have a special respect for all Turkish history and its successor, the Republic of Turkey. The anthems are also of very good quality. The "Mehter Band", the world's first military band, was also an Ottoman invention.

You typed it wrong. You need to learn, how turkish i works in upper and lowercase.
It’s our turn turn to shine
I say this as a Turk who deals with music, "National Anthem" has one of the most beautiful anthem melodies in the world. But although the melody is beautiful, I think this composition is very wrong according to the lyrics. There is a serious inconsistency between the words and the melody, the words and lines seem to be cut in half in most places. This is both against the rules of literature and composition, and is extremely difficult for the chorus singing it.
E.g.
While poetry should normally sound like this:
Korkma; sönmez bu şafaklarda yüzen al sancak. Sönmeden yurdumun üstünde tüten en son ocak. O benim milletimin yıldızıdır, parlayacak. O benimdir, o benim milletimindir ancak.
In this composition sounds like this:
Kork masönmez, buğşa fak. Larda yüzen al sancak. Sönmeden yur, duğ, munüs tünde, tüten, enson, ocak, o be. Nim milletimin. Yıldızıdır par, la, yacakobenim. Dir o benim milletimin, dir an cak!
I'm sure the Turks understand what I mean. In this case, either the composition should be changed, or the two stanzas in which the anthem is sung should be chosen from another part of Mehmet Akif Ersoy's poem written for the anthem. As in Spain, playing the anthem without lyrics is also a good option, but that would be disrespectful to Mehmet Akif Ersoy.

Some anthems simply dont translate into English and not make absolutely no sense, or at least doesn't leave you wondering if they put no work into the lyrics.
