Fun Fact: Miss Mississippi 1987 Toni Seawright wore the same gown that Sandra wore at the 1988 Miss America pageant. Toni was the first black woman to win Miss Mississippi and placed 4th RU at the 1988 Miss America pageant. 😊♥️
And Kimberley Mais wore the same gown at Miss Universe when she was crowned Miss Jamaica Universe 1991.

Thanks for sharing! I’m Caribbean and have to rely on the other Caribbean nations to make me proud in this area. I’m glad Miss Universe got rid of the little girl choir though I liked it then.

To be honest Yendi Philips of 2010 is the best delegate Jamaica 🇯🇲🇯🇲have sent in this competition I really hope she might somehow help their fellow Jamaican contestants to win the title crown someday I found Yendi Philips super beautiful and sexy. 😊❤
Sandra Foster also won Intercontinental 1990 I believe. Michelle Hall’s daughter (Jordan Subaran) will be a force at MU when she enters. Christine Straw should have placed higher. Sanya Hughes (2002) and Carolyn Yap (2009) should have placed.
I don't know about Carolyn Yapp, her choice of prelim gown was not the wisest nor was it flattering as she wasn't physically in the best of shape and her interview must have been unimpressive for her to miss the 1st cut. Plus she was not on anyone's radar so she just blended in.
