Paramotor Trike Flight 53 (Bad Apples 2024)

This was my first flight after arriving at the Bad Apples fly-in in Andersonville GA. I drove overnight and arrived just in time for sunrise. The winds aloft were strong enough that I was flying backwards for a good bit of this flight but thankfully my wing has lots of speed in the trims and I was able to get back to the LZ.
This was my first ever fly-in and my nerves were definitely tingling as I came in to land and was being pushed around by the wind. Thankfully it all worked out just fine.

Truly! The weather on Thursday afternoon and Friday morning almost ran me off but I'm so glad I stuck around. My rain boots were the MVP of the weekend though that's for sure!
