- Building a custom interior! We continue in the interior today with fabricating side panels on the custom sheet metal center console. The Chevy LUV hotrod minitruck isn't technically ready for interior work, but so what?! When it's your own custom vehicle in your own garage, do what you want! Do whatever keeps you moving on your project car, and seeing a cool glimpse of the future finished product, that can be extremely motivating! Keep building, and keep having fun!

I don't have a whole lot of experience with kicker. Worked at a couple shops over a 15 year period, neither one carried it. Everyone has said they like them though

Looks so good! I'm in the process of rebuilding part of my center console now, also. Changing up how the guages are mounted.

Kicker Comp is my jam. I use all their speakers. Good price, and they put out. Just picked up my B18 Volvo engine and transmission for my "mini truck" it's a 95 dakota. Dodge screwed the pooch. So I'mma make it dependable. Ol Sarge is bout to be busy. Looking good out there Lt.

@LTscustomgarage Thanks Lt. It's mostly because the dodge block is shot an the wiring is shot an carbs are way cooler in my opinion an dual carbs are twice as cool. Guess we will see how much it fights me. As a grunt I'm pretty sure I'mma win.

Can confirm the Kicker goes alright! Question...is there a vid about the dash and fitment? Also how did you do the console top? Looks great and along the lines of what I want to add to my Barracuda... Cheers buddy
Unfortunately I grafted the dash in this truck and made the console top before I started the channel so there's no video. Feel free to ask any specific questions about them if you want though.

Is the metal structure of the center console something you made or is it from another vehicle?
I made the console when I grafted the 56 mercury dash into the truck.
