A lovely thing about the Cinquedea is that it boosts bestial incantations. Together with the clawmark Talisman and a fair investment in strenght and faith, you could get some sweet damage with those spells you get from Gurranq

@jessejordan81 The game is incredible, but every game has its burn out limits where you have every item, you’ve done every quest, etc. But I will say coming back after playing some other games and doing a brand new play through was awesome, and a lot less frustrating this time around. Crystallian ashes are hidden in the Sellia Hideaway.
For the last tip, if you're a Mage, and have enough flasks, you can spam Rock Sling at the golem from the lower column, before you jump down onto the final root. He's only worth about 5.7k, though.
I’m pretty sure that spirit spring you used to jump down you can use to jump up onto the giant skull it is beside for some upgrade mats.

Got 8 hidden achievements left got the frenzied flame, age of stars, been mostly everywhere, crazy im still missing them
@nydeatha9220 What are you playing on PS5, XBox, or PC? There’s a way you can complete all the endings on PS5 (and likely a way on other systems) if you’re hunting for the trophies/achievements. If you complete everything all the way up to the frienzied flame ending choice (but don’t go into the chamber) , and upload your saved data to either a thumb drive or the cloud. You can get an ending, download the saved data back to the console from cloud or thumb drive, pick another ending, reload, etc. (rinse and repeat till you have all the achievements). Hope that helps! +Sean D Glad it helped out! There is quite a few obscure secrets, and unless you’re really searching with a fine tooth comb, they are easy to miss. The worth while ones are the Sellia Hideaway since it is tied to sorceress Sellen’s quest, and the Bestial Sanctum one since you can get the Dragoncrest down there. Do you have to discover that red paint thing like you said just to be able to get that ash of war for the arrows?

There are so many videos like this relating to areas or quests… Are there any other like me who always play with the map/database from fear of missing out on all this juicy content ? 😅
The jumping in this game is ridiculously stupid. Jumped off the very low branch the one ypu leave from but because I jumped or something instead of dropped he died on landing.
@joshuabrown4652 Jumping definitely took a lot of getting used to, as well as gauging whether a fall will kill you. There are items like soft cotton that assist with fall damage. But there are tons of times I’ve landed on an edge that was like 10 feet from the ground, slid down and died. Thanks for the comment, and Good Hunting out there!

So where I got that from was; Historically it was developed in northern Italy and enjoyed a period of popularity during the Italian renaissance of the 15th and early 16th centuries. “The name cinquedea means "five fingers", and it describes the width of the blade next to the guard. The blade was heavy, about 45 cm (18 in) in length, and tapered to a somewhat rounded point.” I tried, apologise for the poor translation, I guess learning Italian has to be added to my bucket list. Funny thing about "The Descent" is that if you use the spiritspring behind the minor erdtree and you drop down to the platform you need, the damage is negated, so you can get down without any risk of taking damage. Also, you missed the Crystalian Ashes in the Sellia Hideaway.
