Thanks! Here it's just this orange stuff in 5cm and 3cm thicknesses. That's it. Figure I'll have to have a go at laminating a few at some point, though mostly I usually try to get the build to fit the material rather than the other way around. This build for example could be built out of several different parts rather than one chunk, something like instagram.com/p/CCZEKRBnsjf/ (that's in three pieces, the seams are hidden by the brick pattern ;) ) I'm guessing you could even build the columns out of four pieces of foam each, or make two faces including the top and bend a thin piece to create the inside of the arch. Using junk as material like I usually do is a great mental exercise for this kind of thing XD
XPS is such a great material to craft with. I'm in the US, so it's easy to come by. I got a nine foot by two foot board for twelve bucks at Home Depot.
It sure is! I'm having an absolute blast working with it. There's less variety in my supply here (6x3 feet, 3 or 5cm thickness) but it's similarly cheap. As long as the supply is stable, I'm perfectly happy with it.

I noticed that you're popping your mic. Meaning that your 'puh' sounds are peaking your recording. When you record, keep the mic as close to your mouth as normal but to the side of the mic. More like your speaking next to your microphone instead of into it. That'll get rid of those annoying pops. Or you can buy or make a pop filter. Good video!
