To replace qualified US citizens with imported foreign labors is a violation of federal immigration law, and to favor one nationality over others in hiring practice violates equal protections guaranteed by US Constitution. Finally, we have a president who is not bought out by Corporate America. This is our opportunity to expose and resist the discrimination and oppression of Indian monopoly in IT fields. American IT workers will not be driven into extinction by illegal practices in our own country. At least, we will not go down without a fight -- we still have our freedom of speech. We are not under-educated, under-trained, lazy, incompetent, or in short supply, as described in so many rumors about us. America has talent. However I do work in the insurance industry and for one very sizeable company that I work for the entire floor for the IT department was filled with nothing but foreign-born Indians. I have friends and family members who are it professionals who have lost their jobs or could not get for the work because their jobs are either Outsource to foreign Indians with these visas and to add insult to injury some of them were even forced to train Indians to replace them for lower wages. This is just intrinsically wrong and anti-American. This opinion has nothing to do with any racism against Indian people. However it is a government's duty to take care of its own Citizens First !

I saw a speech where he actually said that the only H-1B visas he would endorse would be for highly skilled professionals. This meeting IT professionals & even medical professionals. They have sold Americans This wolf ticket for years that there is a shortage of Highly skilled labor in the United States but that's bullcrap. And even if there were why are they investing in training up Americans to fill these highly skilled professional jobs. It's a complete sell-out of America.

US companies usually pay much more to hire an educated foreign worker, which means foreign workers tend to be more competent and motivated. Almost locals have been living in a comfortable life for so long that they can't nail a high-level competition.

Under the circumstances none but US industry will suffer. I suggest all US firms relocate to India and we can issue Visas to US nationals to work here in India. Anyway both are Democratic, large and free countries.
