Many years ago I attended some pattern making classes, and one of the most valuable things I learned was using a favourite pair of my pants to make a pattern. Normally I had a lot of alterations to make on a commercial pants pattern, so this was a great shortcut.

I just discovered your channel! Thank you so much for your information and instruction! I would love to learn about drafting. Do you need a dress form that is your size? When you get toward the point, sew to the fold 1/4” away from the point, then sew the last stitches (usually 3) on the edge of the fold. Then hand tie. Gives you a smooth point without looking like a torpedo.

I'm sorry. English isn't my first language, and I was under the impression that it refers to people as the dictionary describes. Later on, I learned that in some cultures, this word can have a different meaning. And, now I try to use "everyone", although I have to admit that it seems to me more distant. My apologies. This video was recorded about three years ago, but I'm more aware at this time. Cheers 😊
