You will find out the students do their own choreography ,they plan everything out themselves.The juniors and seniors kids teach the lower class kids .and most of the time they pick the music and check with the band director to make sure he approves of their decision
I've watched that performance dozens of times, but watching it with you was like seeing it for the first time. I'm a big old grisly 74 year old but watching the Orange Devils (their nickname) always moves me to tears and seeing your lovely genuine reaction (It's a small world, I'll be there etc) had me reaching for the tissues again LOL! This Band - any year - is so, so good, but this Rose Parade adventure (2017/2018) may never be matched! Several of the members here are now in a band called, appropriately enough, O-VILS, - a sort of "Grown Up Tachibana" - you should check them out, you will not be disappointed. Also the DM, the girl directing the band is nicknamed "Ron". They have a band made up of Tachibana graduates named "O Villes", taken from the nickname of the Tachibana SHS Band, Orange Devils. Yes, I agree with you that this video has a better sound and picture quality. I've watched a lot of videos on this performance and I liked this one better than the others. That Louisburg High School band before them was good too and the band following them is from University of Oklahoma (they were there because their football theme will compete in the Rose Bowl after the Rose Parade). I really like the way you react because you always finish the whole video. If you noticed that all the DM's participated by playing their instruments. 'Ron', their current DM joined the rest of the band with her clarinet during the "I'll Be There" portion.

I'm loving your genuine reaction! I was indeed, expecting a 2 part mini series from you but needless to say, it's perfect! There are a total of 21 participants in this bandfest held at Robinson Stadium in Pasadena, CA. The first 8 performed in the afternoon of Dec 29, 2017. KT being the 20th in the list performed the next day (Dec 30, 2017). And yes, at the beginning of the video the host is making remarks to the Louisburg HS Marching Band, a participant before KT. The 8.9km long 129th Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade was held on Jan 1, 2018. And due to some restrictions unclear to me, KT has to wait 6 years before they can participate again. Having said that, we are looking forward for KT's reappearance in the 2024 Rose Parade. That is if all goes well. Maraming Salamat po!

What I was trying to say is, since the video footage is 29 mins long, I thought you would split the video into 2 parts. The first half is Part 1 while the other half is Part 2. Know what I mean? From my understanding, the ideal yt vlog should be at least 12 mins long. But what do I know? I could be wrong again, as usual!

It will depend on how a viewer enjoys the content. If it's a reaction on KT, I really don't mind vlogging for such duration tbh 🤗🤗😄😄The only challenge with longer videos is if the video can sustain the viewer's interest. I know it's more technical to discuss this with you since it's more of a RUclips algorithm stuff 😄😄😄 Normally, I don't tend to split the original video in mini series to be more efficient. Also, my momentum as a reactor loses if I will split it to mini series 😅😅 Most importantly, I forgot to split this video in mini series because I completely lost the time due to enjoyment 😅😅😅🤣🤣🤣
