  • Just a short drive from Leh in Ladakh are many ancient monasteries in beautiful villages nestled in the Himalayas. We rented a motorbike to explore these monasteries and are also on the hunt for some amazing local butter tea and, of course, our staple, masala chai. Join us in this new series as we take you on many adventures to the spiritual heart of Ladakh.

June-July-August is the rainy season in the rest of India. The Eastern Himalayas are closed during this time and open the rest of the year. The total reverse

India was gripped by heatwave in May. You guys chose the right time for Ladakh.
Do you a drone? May or may not be a good idea, but the aerial view could be captured better, especially, when in such places. Anyways, stay blessed both of you and Love! Thanks as always!

It truly was hot in Delhi in late May when we went there. Almost 50 degrees! No, we don't have a drone, but who knows in the future. Thank you as always, my friend.

The monasteries are active. There are sometimes hundreds of monks on some monasteries. You would love it.
