    I’ve been using the Elevated Craft since it was released. My thoughts…
    Pros:
    - Perfect for egg white cocktails
    - Built in measuring cup
    - Zero spillage
    - Great for batching and go
    - Incredibly well built
    Cons:
    - Pours too slow for professional use
    - Muddled fruit clogs the pourer
    Overall, I’m very happy with mine and use it all the time at home on my channel. If I was still working professionally, I wouldn’t use it. Cheers! 🥃

    I bought it when it was on indiegogo and I love it. I do agree with Steve that this would not work great in an ”actual bar setting” as it is slower and the insulated thermos deal would be overkill. But for at home parties and picnics this shaker is so delightful to use especially with the ”grip design” that makes it nice to hold. But the best part is no leak AND NO FREEZING THE SHAKER SHUT

  • @SavidgeKitchen

    Yay!! Love this! My favorite thing about the elevated shaker is easily batching 4 cocktails at home and bringing them with me to a friend’s house. Add ice and shake when I’m ready to serve, and bam, good cocktails even away from my home bar 😂

    Love this shaker! Got it for Christmas last, and it’s my go to shaker. I’m in the South Pacific and love that I can batch cocktails and keep the second pours ready, without over dilution. I do use a hawthorn strainer rather than the built in one. Great at the beach as well.

  • @konaone5087
    @konaone5087 3 года назад +1

    Received one for Christmas. Working great. For at home, you can double, triple or quadruple recipes. Works fine with egg whites for fizz. This stops the newbie exploding shakers, I was afraid to hit down on the two tin version. Super happy.

  • @JustiaFiat

    Sounds like the perfect shaker to go. Perhaps not ideal for beginner that need the haptic feedback to judge for dilution, but I'd really like to try them out sometime!

    I've done well over 100 cocktails in my elevated craft shaker and still love it. It really shines for tiki drinks where there are often large measures and open pours. And of course when dry shaking as there is no risk of it coming undone. But I agree that it's not suitable for a high throughput environment, it's definitely geared towards home use by happy amateurs like myself.

  • @jayaychare7318
    @jayaychare7318 2 года назад

    i have one and generally love it as a do it all. built-in lid measures are great and I utilise a precise jigger for micro measures if required. i found myself utilising the hawthorn strainer to get a quicker pour out when needed.

    Ironically I just bought one of these a few weeks ago and used it tonight for the first time. I typically only use Boston shakers, but this one intrigued me. I completely agree that it’s strange to shake something that never gets cold, but otherwise I really like it! I’m not sure that it will completely replace my favorite Boston, but I’m sure it will get quite a bit of use.

  • @willdonovanaus

    It was so exciting to be part of the finding project. A feature you didn’t play up enough is using the measurer alone - when making a Negroni everything is poured so much faster into the one vessel then straight in to glass over ice,
    I agree with the double straining, but I thought that’s just part of the game when making those Hi Ladies you showed us!!

  • @CarlosEmilioEsq
    @CarlosEmilioEsq 3 года назад +2

    I was an early adopter, got it off indiegogo. They aren't cheap, so brace yourself. I know Steve is already getting dinged for not talking about the price. But he's also in Australia. I usually get over sticker shock when I have a quality product in my hand. That's what happened here.
    There's a little learning curve, but it's a great shaker for home use (or when you aren't in a hurry). Terrific for making drinks for you and your friends, or for taking it on your travels - a boat, a picnic, a day out. It's great because you can batch cocktails and they stay cold and don't dilute. I've even used it for catering a couple of times when I have three or four people having the same drink.
    Great packaging, quality product, with some flaws. But I guess I can't call them flaws since this shaker will work great for the 99.9% of the world's population who don't bartend for a living.

    Video and comments are just what I was figuring. However, my home parties consist of 25 to 30 people minimum so it would be too slow for me to use at home. My Halloween party I served a ton of drinks both regular and mocktails. Would have been a pain to slow pour like that.
