Too bad these scenes weren’t in the movie; it could’ve used a little more combat. A lot more, actually. Everything was so quick & it really jumped from scene to scene without much detail. An extra 10-12 minutes wouldn’t have been too much to ask a pre-teen or early teen to sit through. Social media hadn’t destroyed our attention spans yet. Especially seeing as how most of the audience were probably diehard fans anyways.
As it is you get the impression there aren't many Autobots left by the end of the movie. You'd like to think there were more survivors left at the city and the Ark with the two Moonbases gone. If Ultra Magnus and his contingent are the last survivors then the faction is almost extinct.
I'll admit that 10-year-old me is kind of glad this scene wasn't actually in the movie because after seeing what happened on the Autobot shuttle, I would have feared for the lives of every 1984 character on screen.
Always wondered where Jetfire was during the assault on Autobot City! But I think bringing the other combiner groups in would have been too much juggling with the continuity of the attack. Nice to see a couple more Decepticons taking hits compared to what actually happened in the movie!
This is actually a very good idea on how you utilize the characters. Especially the ones that you don’t see! Bravo! One minor issue is I would have like to seen maybe trailbreaker or Huffer get killed in the fight.

I have such love for this movie, watched it so many times on my copy (before the DVD then came out) on a VHS tape recording of the film that aired with commercial breaks on TV. I have the DVD and BR with the bonus stuff. Was fortunate to see the limited re-release on the big screen back in 2019. I loved seeing this RUclips video and frequently searching for anything like it. I know it’s not very practical with viewing interests, production expenses etc,, but for a long time have desired to see this film re-released with added a bunch of new battle footage that adds as much of the season 1 and 2 characters (ok yes I am a cynical bastard, show me more hard core fighting and 🥲deaths, I mean come on, no Deceptions killed by Autobots at all?), when Prime arrived with reinforcements, hope to see at least 15-25 more characters, more side interactions pre and post fortress attack, the Deception defense on Cybertron when Unicron attacks, some more post battle Deception arguments and fighting while on Astrotrain. Plus please please 🙏 we definitely need the combiners from both sides (and Omega!) added to the carnage. Impractical? Meh, yes I know, am now in my 40’s, but, like anyone, I can dream. Perhaps someday 🙏🫶🙌✍️

They deleted this but gave us the animation to Dare to Be Stupid? It would have been nice seeing more Autobots defending "Autobot City."

This is surprisingly well animated
Until now, I didn't think Motor Master can easily detach his trailer as he was always seen transforming as part of his body unlike with Optimus Prime.
I'd say this Motormaster was inspired by the recent Legacy figure.
I think if the movie had 10-15 mins added it would have been better

ok so slight nitpick...Motormaster's trailer was his upper body and his cab was his legs. If he detached his trailer he would just be a pair of legs.
