I actually don’t wanna wear my natural hair anymore 😭 I’m over it I’m trynna do braids and some type of idk sew in it something in the winter chile What’s yall lines looking like in Houston 👀 im a 117. I wanna change bases but there’s so much to consider! Plus yall weather ain’t looking good either tbh. Dang all I do is talk so I like a healthy balance of talking and b roll. But one thing I’m gone do is talk !
Jesss I surely do! Lol I used to be scared at first too, but overtime I got more comfortable. At most they'll ask "omg are you're vloggingg" and we have a lil convo about it, but that's about it. I try my best to get a few clips whenever we have some down time and I'm not in the way, I also always ask permission first if I want to get a lil crew footage :) they be chillin! Okayyy if you've been wearing it consistently you get a pass, I was getting braids back to back with pretty much no breaks 🤣 def go for them!! And winter time also silk press sznnn😍I try not to straighten more than like 2-3x/year lol so a sew in would def be cute too! Your natural hair is so beautiful btw ❤ Tbh a lot of our reserves been leaving to get lines elsewhere 😭I believe around 112s are the most junior with lines. I'm all forrrr changing bases for something different though especially to get a line! We been going thru it a lil with the weather ngl lol but it's usually not this often, maybe bad storms like once a year😅 I'm sure our base will move quicker once we start hiring againnn (hopeful thinking LOL) Thats true a good balance is good! Ok if I'm actually interested in the person chatting then yea I be tuned in regardless 🤣

Varies depending on the airline but I’m sure even if you do have to 100% memorize, you’ll be able to read them off paper the first few times at least! I hope lol
Love your hair 🥰. A tip for a bomb twist out make sure the twist has a tight hold when it’s done. If it’s too puffy they you’ll get more volume rather than definition also gel helps with the hold too . Also if you can keep the twists in for 2-3 days for the best of both worlds. I’m binging now to get caught up lol (Silent viewer here 👋🏾) I am a year and 4 months in as an FA 🐝 , and this is embarrassing for me to say, but I don’t have a backbone…yet 🥲. I had my first disruptive guest recently, and I didn’t have her removed, even though she should have been. I was worried that she’d yell at me even more (I don’t like confrontation). I feel blessed to not have had people trying me so often, but my question is, were you scared when you first became an FA? Did you get more comfortable over time with telling guests what to do (for compliance for example), or did it come to you naturally? Most guests think we’re being mean or want to argue, especially where I’m based, but as you and I know, it’s literally for their safety. I hope you are doing well! You have such great energy and this vibrance about you. You are an inspiration. Be blessed!
Heyy lol don’t be embarrassed, I was literally the same way 💀 yes it did take me a little minute to start getting comfortable telling guests what to do. Especiallyyy since I started when we still had to wear masks because of COVID, omg it was the most annoying thing EVER having to constantly tell ppl 😭 plus everyone was just very tense and on edge flying during that time (FA’s too), seriously when I had the most issues on my flights. I’ve now found my sweet spot between being polite and still getting my point across that I’m telling you to do stuff for the safety of the aircraft as a whole. Some people just simply don’t like being told what to do, that’s when you have to add some base in your voice fr cause they will try you 💀 but I also think it’s important to not go on a whole power trip and be nasty to people, that only escalates things. Thankfully after the whole mask thing, It’s super rare that I get disruptive pax. If they do decide to turn up, I don’t do no arguing back and forth I’ll just immediately walk off straight to the lead. That way they can throw their little fit from outside the aircraft lol. I getcha I know some destinations can be a bit more rowdy than others lol, but you’ll for sure get more confident in compliance with time like I had to! Don’t gotta be an a-hole, but also don’t let people run over you 💗 awe hopefully we meet in passing or in the skies! 🐝 ✈️🥰

Whenever you make announcements on the phone do you have to memorize or do you get to read off of a paper?
Varies depending on the airline but I’m sure even if you do have to 100% memorize, you’ll be able to read them off paper the first few times at least! I hope lol
