The dry part of Murang'a is the Northern side, the Southern part is chilly and that can be seen from the tea grown in the Southern part. As you head South, you are literally in the Aberdare ranges which can be seen from that side. Fun fact number one, mangoes are widely availble in Murang'a, every household has a mango tree. In high school we literally went to the school farm with bags to collect mangoes that had fallen to the ground. Fun fact number 2, Murang'a is where majority of Nairobi water comes from, from the biggest reservoir called Ndakaini.

Actually, it's the Central part of Murang'a that is dry. Northern Murang'a grows tea too (Mathioya Subcounty)
