All the wood used in building our shelter was sourced from private property, specifically from cultivated Gliricidia sepium trees (locally known as ginisiriya or watamara). The wood was obtained through pruning, which is a sustainable practice that does not harm the trees. Additionally, our shelter is located near this private property, ensuring that we respect and preserve the natural forest. We are committed to sustainable and responsible practices in all our projects.
