This is because Visa and MasterCard still consider kratom as a drug since it has neither been approved nor banned. Some states have listed Kratom as a controlled substance (such as Alabama, Arkansas, Indiana, Tennessee and Wisconsin), so because of this, any credit card processor who claims they can process for kratom are probably intending to lie to their processing bank about what you actually sell, or they intend to set you up on a sketchy aggregate merchant account (both of which can get you placed on the Terminated Merchant File (TMF) list which puts your business at risk).
