Now that you reached the end of season 1 I really need to say: I love your reaction and commentary! :D Your insights on filmmaking, characters, symbolism and narration really adds something to my experience of (re-)watching the show with you - and that is a feeling I don't get very often watching reaction videos. I get something to think about through new perspectives and details I just missed or interpreted differently. You two go in depth but at the same never stray too far from the actual material. I agree that Stranger Things is a Master Class in television making. I originally avoided Stranger Things like the plague because all I knew was "Kids centric scifi horror" and I thought "Oh great, crappy Goosebumps redux, no thank you..." because Goosebumps was just bad to begin with. It wasn't until season 4 had fully aired and a certain viral scene dropped all over the internet that my interest was actually piqued and my response was "Well, hello there. You now have my attention." So, I gave it a chance and I was hooked from the first episode. I'll tell you what scene it was and why it grabbed my attention AFTER you get to that point in the story. 🤫😏 My top two favorite characters are Dustin and a character you'll meet later in the series (put those two together and you basically have me, personality wise). I'm looking forward to season 5, though I'm not looking forward to the series ending (the story is being given a closed 5 season arc). Side note, Gaten Materazo, the actor who plays Dustin, actually has Cleidocranial Dysplasia in real life, and they added that detail to Dustin's character after they cast Gaten. I've actually known about the condition since around 1999-2001 because a friend of my son's father (whom I ended up dating a few years later) actually has it (he got it from his father), so I had a funny freakout moment (in a good way) when Dustin mentioned it in the first episode. Bizarrely enough, I actually have Hypermobility, which my son inherited from me. No one else in my family ever had it (as far as we know), so like in Gaten's case with his CCD, the Hypermobility just spontaneously showed up with me. Those two things, plus how Dustin is very intelligent and good with puzzles (I Love Puzzles and Science!), plus leans slightly towards possibly being Autistic (like my son and I), and being the group caretaker (just like I always was as a kid, and even now I still do that), you can easily see why I latched onto Dustin as a character. When you get to the point in the series where you meet the other character I strongly identify with, I will discuss the reasons why then. 😉😏 And no, I'm not even going to tell you when they show up or who that is until you get to the part where they actually show up in the story. 😜 Because Spoilers!
I just discovered your channel because of Stranger Things and binge watched season 1 and thoroughly enjoyed your reactions. I love this program. Then I went to your home page looking for season 2. I couldn't find it. Is there a season 2? Or is it still on your todo list? If so I hope you don't delay it much longer because in today's world we need some very enjoyable entertainment like you two.

Yes I agree this show is absolutely perfect from cinematography to story there is no wasted time... On a side note Sam love the mad hatter shirt...and with that said I'll be anxiously waiting season 2

One thing that amuses the heck out of me is how many characters who are quiet, unassuming, intense, brooding, somber, are played by actors who are totally chatty goofballs. Millie Bobby Brown, for example. (Other examples, Jason Momoa, Ming Na Wen, Sarah Michelle Geller...)
