This was a great and relatable show, and I like to think that in the end, that was Daniel accepting that both bodies are his true self and neither should be taken for granted.
As a webtoon reader not yet it takes like 300 chapters for that but I can say it's satisfying to see his acceptance of that not gonna spoil it read it. Pure Gold
This final scene had me crying. Seeing that picture of his new body and old one hit me hard. I was once fat like him and it took me nearly seven years to workout and feel better about myself. I wish I could take a picture like that with my old self.
People keep saying the reason they hate it was because it didn't follow the manga. I completely disagree with those negative comments, like, the devs tried their best to atleast make a better version of the manga and convert it into an anime movie. This anime actually teaches me lessons and it's the best anime I've ever watched.

I mean he understood because he also was treated bad in his other body. Ughhh I hate that some people choose looks over talent. His rapping is so good.

i think they decided to make him look at least a little similar to james lee with the red hair, so the character does'nt look completely different. they altered a few other characters aswell i think, but the designs are still completely loyal to the webtoon
