I heard that Kurzweil 3000 on the computer had that same voice. You had to click on the narrator and click on what person you wanted to read the text and it would read. Kurzweil 3000 had it's issues like if you tried to read like a odd word or a lot of symbols before the sentence it would jump around saying the symbols before the sentence and it was very frustrating to hear.

They said to seek shelter inside theaters, restaurants, and shops, but many of them had locked their doors, and wouldn't let people in.
