The dumping of team checklists (and the numbered parallels of them) really elevated OPC even further in the last 2 years. The white backed ‘22-23 cards printed in Italy are just so nice. Was a hair bummed to see the brown backs this year but still a spectacular value, the best in the hobby IMO.
At least the 2nd box with that checklist blank back had 2 hit cards. The platinum previews were also considered a chase card I believe.
I still have half of my 2022-23 OPC case to finish opening. The one thing I just realized for 22-23 was that UD discontinued the team checklist cards. I have the first 500 completed and am hopeful that I can complete the entire Marquee Rookie set. I was hoping to pull a low numbered Juraj out of the case.

Honestly…this set is really FUN! It took me quite a bit to finish the playing cards set, but the premier tall boys…ugh, I think I have two and I won’t go the eBay rought! 😂

What would you consider a complete set in today's hockey card climate? Would that include all base cards, or would a set include parallels and base cards mix as well? The modern day of collecting is tricky, confusing, and expensive.

You can get, from the last few season, retail 24 pack boxes of series 1/2/3 for $30 or under. No hobby hits it there, but some pretty great ygs in there.

Ya I’ve seen 50-60$ but not less than 30$. Same with the boxes in this video. He’s saying 40$. I can’t find any under 65$.
Check the big US retailers. Blowout cards, Dacardworld Steel city collectibles, etc..i bought a case of 2021/22 series 1 for under $400usd. They had individual boxes for $25

Not sure what's wrong with your blank back checklist. You don't only can use it as an actual checklist, you can also write down your grocery list on it.

Honesty, O-Pee-Chee is the best product on the market. It's not even close.
