Cheers mate, I actually did a bit for this vid would you believe but I couldn’t use it as the sun was reflecting off the screen of the fish finder. I’ll do a bit more next time 👍🎣
Great video in my home town. I spent many days in the harbour at Seaton Sluice or at Blyth, catching nothing but a cold. good to see there are some fish a little way out.
That was a very enjoyable video to watch. I loved the double act with the Fulmar. And yes, I would have caved in as well and fed it my dinner, especially watching it paddle back to you. People are right when they say sometimes it the fish you lose you remember. What a bend in the rod! Great session, many thanks and best wishes, Kev
Thanks Kev I’m glad you enjoyed it. That fulmar was definitely shaking me down, he knew I’d crack! It certainly felt like a beast the one that got away. It fought like a big cod. Hey ho. It was a lush day out 👍🎣
Always been my favourite stamping ground around the Can area. Some stunning wrasse. Would like to have seen the rodbender you lost. Excellent viewing again as usual. Arthur.
thi is MrBear ,florida i whent out june 7th got nothing but it was nice to get the day be fore birthday . ben 10/15 to 15/20 ever sence or things to , now we get to keep ani on a tropicle storm next week. nice trip you had hope you and yours are doing fine stay safe tite lines.
Hi mate, we’re all good here, massive thunderstorm last night which felt a bit overdue after the red hot weather we’ve had this week. Hope you’re well 👍🎣
Well done Chris, another great watch. Heard a few people on about Reballas lately, where can they be got, tried searching online and on Aliexpres but no look tracking them down.
Hi mate I’m glad you enjoyed the video- I’ve still got both but I would always use the Sturgeon at Whitley as the launch is a proper nightmare. The steepest hill on earth (known locally as heart attack hill!) plus a rocky beach. 👍🎣
Thanks very much I’m glad you enjoyed it, I’ll be heading back up to Scotland in the next week or so. To be fair though two of my last four uploads were Scotland trips 🤣 tight lines mate 👍🎣
great video as usual can i ask is the lowrance hook reveal 5 much better than the garmin striker plus 4 as a intermediate kayaker I dont know which one to go for Thanks Colin
Thanks mate, I’m glad you enjoyed it. The striker four is a great budget fish finder and I really enjoyed using it. I’d say the Lowrance hook five has a better screen (no need for a sun shade, visible in direct sunlight) The reveal feature is really good on water 20 metres and less. The maps and gps are a lot better (need to purchase a map card, I went for c-maps). Hope that helps mate 👍🎣
Hiya Chris, great outing as usual mate. Just want to ask, what type of battery do you use for your motor and how long does it last. Thanks pal, stiff lines mate.
For some reason chris ya videos dont come up in my notifications and i subscribed as ull see by comments over a year ago. maybe something to look into but they do pop up on my mainstream ?
Hi mate, if you click the bell icon it’ll turn them on for you. You don’t always get notifications for channels you’re subscribed to otherwise. Thanks for the sub it’s much appreciated 👍🎣
Is that the old kayak now? I see you have a motor in it can you tell me what one it is please? I have the same kayak but the mk 2 with the square hatch
Hi Darren, I’ve got both the Sturgeon and a Supernova I swap between them depending on the launch. The motor is from Galaxy, it just slots into the Sturgeon where the flipper drive goes. If you fancy one the code will save you a few bob. OTD5 👍🎣
@onthedropfishing do they still sell them then? Great that it fits the sturgeon, is it the 54lb motor one? Sold out at the moment looks a lot of other clamps etc to it, be great if you could do a video on it in your sturgeon as I'm looking at getting one as I suffer a bit with the leg power and back at the moment 🎣👍, just seen another one on there that looks like yours 24lb thrust £249 is that the one ?
Yeah that’s the one for the sturgeon the 24lb one. The other is for the Supernova. It just fits in where the pedal drive goes exactly the same way as you fit the flippers. It’s honestly that simple 👍🎣
This is the best Kayak Fishing channel I’ve found. Great content and your cheerful delivery makes it.
Thanks very much, I’m glad you’re enjoying the content! 👍🎣
Yet another belter of a session Chris..well done. Great vid.

Cheers mate, I actually did a bit for this vid would you believe but I couldn’t use it as the sun was reflecting off the screen of the fish finder. I’ll do a bit more next time 👍🎣

Another great video Chris, nice to see different types of fish landed.👍👍👍🎣🎣🎣
Thanks Glen, I do love a wrasse 👍🎣
Great video Chris, weather was great for you,no mackerel as yet pal, but over the west coming up in a bundle
Thanks John it was a lovely day. There are a few mackerel around at the mo I’m just not likely to catch them on weedless plastics 👍🎣
Brill Chris , good to see there are fish at Whitley , must get out there
You must, it's in full swing now Stuart 👍🎣
Smashing down out
It was a beautiful day 👍🎣
New rod & reel chris
Reasonably new, I've had the rod since Christmas and the reel since last summer. They've both been great so far 👍🎣
Just come back from a weekend flyfishing trip. Now desperate to get out on the kayak! Great video Chris. Gutted about the rod bender loss..........😢
Yeah me too, it felt like a beast. Glad you enjoyed the vid mate 👍🎣

Always been my favourite stamping ground around the Can area. Some stunning wrasse. Would like to have seen the rodbender you lost. Excellent viewing again as usual. Arthur.
There so much ground to chose from at Whitley you have to be careful you don’t spend all day hopping from spot to spot instead of fishing!🤣 👍🎣

Really enjoyed your video, love the way you treat your fish with care so many sea anglers don't! Well done. P.s.shame about the one that got off!

Great video as alwats. And thanks for the code, lovely to have £80 off my new kayak
Ah brill, Glad to help. What did you get?👍🎣
@@onthedropfishing ordered the Supernova FX in graphite
Might have missed it in a previous video what happened to the supernova how come you have gone bak to the alboran great video as usual 👍

Hi mate, I’m using an Ultramax 100ah LiFePO4 total overkill but I get two or three trips per charge when I’m away 👍🎣

Il tuo nuovo socio di pesca ahahah Io sono appena tornato da un week end di pesca. Sgombri e sugarellj a go go. Che remperatura dell'acqua hai li?
Sounds like a good trip, Water temp is still quite cold here, about 12 degrees Celsius 👍🎣
What kind of rod and reel you using mate ?
Dam SW Spin 7”4 40g and a Penn Spinfisher VI in 3500 👍🎣
What rod set up have you got mate
In this vid it’s a Dam SW Spin 7’2” rated 40g. Reel is a Penn Spinfisher vI in 3500 👍🎣
How do you have the box attached?
It's attache with bungees, if the sea comes away I add a cam strap as well 👍🎣
The box with your lures in? Sorry if I'm being daft, I can't see how
Oh right the tackle box thing? It’s on a railblaza mount on the rail 🎣👍
@@onthedropfishing is there a mount you can get or was it big of a DIY job?
Bit of a DIY job mate, Stuck a male railblaza part on the box then a railblaza star port on the rail 👍🎣
Great video, do you or have ever fished off Roker Sunderland? Tight lines 🎣
Cheers Paul, I haven’t fished Roker yet but it’s on the list 👍🎣
