9:20 as a curly haired girl I’m glad you feel the pain of all the steps to try and make curly hair look presentable hahaha. It legit takes me an hour from the point it’s washed to the point I style it (plus diffusing if I don’t air dry) and it’s SUCH an ordeal trying to make sure it’s not going frizzy. You did well though trying all the products and diffusing! Mousse and gel is there to form a cast for your curls and the crunchiness will go once you scrunch even if you don’t use oil 🤍

curly hair tip from someone who’s been at it for a while- the gel and oil scrunch (mainly the oil scrunch) is what makes it feel super icky. with the cake mouse, with is AWESOME!! you literally just have to use your hands and scrunch once it’s dry for it to break the crunchy cast. no oil needed 😇
Curly hair tip: it might work better if you used the cream and then only mousse or only gel, both of them together can weigh your hair down and will be harder to scrunch out cause the cast will be thicker! Hope that helps 😊

I straightened my hair for 7 years and destroyed my curls. My hair is back to how it used to be, and I love it. It takes time to find what works for you, but it's worth it. I would recommend finding out with kinda hair texture and curl pattern you have. Also, get a bonnet for sleep or a silk pillow case they keep your hair soft and moisturized. Love your video ❤

hey girl, your natural hair is so pretty :) i also have curly hair so i thought i could share some useful tips that work for me:
-apply the first cream right after getting out of the shower so your hair’s still wet. that way your hair will absorb the product way more during the scrunch and then put on the micro towel
-do scrunch with mousse but not with gel. only a little bit of gel should be applied gently over the hair with both palms of the hand so your hair doesn’t get too hard and stiff
-trust the process and do not touch/play with your hair until it is 100% dry!!

Your hair looks good! I have naturally curly hair but I agree I don’t think you need all the extra product. I just use a curl cream and air dry! If you have frizz it’s a 10 or a leave in could help :)

8:50 Your hair looks so pretty! I do agree - I don’t think you need that much product and routine. I do cream, mouse, diffuse, oil - I have 3b/c frizzy hair. Cream forms shape, mousse creates volume & definition, gel holds style (heavier than mousse). Your waves are loose w/o frizz, so too much product can weigh your hair down or make it greasy and still feel ‘wet.’ I think only one is needed: diffuser (more volume & definition) or microfiber towel (healthier, no heat). And put the oil after it’s dry and crunchy.
This is just what I think from what I learned but experimenting and seeing what’s right for your hair is def key! Your hair looks really great and its so cool to see you on your hair journey!!!

100% the first option of the outfits or the black and white flower outfit.. SO CUTE
Love your videos!! As a curly girly I would say that working with the products you already have, the first cream you have to put it in your hair without scrunching it and then brush it to make sure the product is evenly applied in your hair. Second step would be choosing to use either moose or gel, you don't need to use both, and then do the same with brushing it and detangling it. Then proceed with the scrunch with your hand and with the towel. Then the las step is to break that hard coat that the moose or the gel leaves, and put hair oil in your hands and then keep scrunching. I personally stops there and let it dry naturally. But you can use the defuser, just don't forget to completely dry it out if you are using that. The difuser is great when you want your curls/waves to be curlier than usual.
Extra tip: don't dry your hair with the towel before doing all that, the more damp it is, the better, and the towel will take the extra water when you are scrunching it with it. Try it out and let me know if it worked

Love your vlogs, just a tip for a simpler curl routine from a wavy roots/curly ends hair girl - a little of miss pillow soft curls cream-run it through your wet hair with your fingers and scrunch while your head is upside down lol then use a little water based gel - wet line extreme pro styling gel - run through your hair with your fingers and crunch upside down again then air dry, it’s just two products and both available at target and both light weight products that won’t weigh down your hair so it will curl more and feel soft with no frizz
