      ^^yeaa, that's what I was getting at. Who is she? Doesn't quite look like Jenn to me but thanks for the reply, Jhonathan. And that on top of a very strong vocal from Derek. Key of G is high but it's right in his wheelhouse; he never shies away from a pitch, bless his heart.

      Ted Warren Ted, the Lord really loves you. It's seems apparent from your anger that your "experience" with the Lord is based on "the letter of the Law". This is keeping you from knowing more than you can see with your eyes.Samuel the prophet pioneered spontaneous music 3000 years ago, raised up 100's or even 1000's of Levitical priests to write out their prayers and to set them to music. David (tho not a priest) was the man after God's heart and followed this practice wholeheartedly. The vast majority of the book of Psalms were written and set to music.
      (We are now priests unto God) We are to pray "on earth as it is in heaven", been to heaven Ted? Read Revelation 4,5, and 14, 15 to get a picture of what heavenly prayer and worship looks like.
      When David became king he financed 4000 musicians and 288 skilled singers to minister to the Lord on Mt. Zion. The psalms employ us to "sing a new song to the Lord". Deborah's song, Miriam's song, Hannah's song as well as Mary and Elizabeth's songs were all spontaneous or prophetic songs. This simply means that they were not written down, instead, they bubbled up from the Spirit of God that is ministering through the person.
      Ted, before you respond to this, please search out the word with a serious child like faith, Jesus said that the Father is seeking worshipers' who worship in Spirit and truth. This is about the "Greatest Commandment", which is to love God. I'm sure the early disciples showed and exuberance and enthusiasm for Christ that we rarely see. Saul was pretty upset, later after having his own encounter with Christ he said "the letter kills, the Spirit gives life. If you are the man of God that I hope you are you will take the many Bible references I mentioned before the Lord and ask Him if maybe there is more of an experience that He has for you, because even the Old Testament people were way ahead of the vast majority today. Father out of Your glorious riches give my brother the Spirit of wisdom and revelation so that he might know You better...". Just a little guy seeking to know a Big God.

      Does the Letter of the Truth bother you also? This is about TRUTH - not law. Where does the apostle Paul tell any of the churches to start a music band? Where is that New Testament ministry mentioned? I do not need any band up on a stage to sing to the Lord. And I certainly do not need to pay $50 to go to some pathetic Jesus CULTure concert. That is what the world does.
      Let the congregation sing "spontaneous" songs, and get these performers off the stage. Quit following man made rubbish and follow God and HIS word.

    • @wordwatch2
      @wordwatch2 10 лет назад

      Ted Warren Ted you are right that this is about truth not law. Where did the Mosaic law tell people to worship with musicians and singers? It doesn't, it never did! Yet, when Samuel and David began this ministry that stretches through the rest of the Bible all the way till the end of Revelation, God liked it.
      So, please if you will give me 2-3 verses from the New Testament that are in context where music is forbidden you could end the argument. Verses that say "don't worship Me with music and singing".
      Of course you will not find one verse on this subject where worship music is banished. In fact worship music was still part of the Jewish worship at the temple and in homes even after Pentecost. You are, like Saul was before you, kicking against the goads. Send 2-3 verses, to me and argument is over. Rebuke a divisive person once, then twice and after that have nothing to do with him....love

      Ted Warren Are you a Christian? What's the difference in an old time choir singing hymns? Are you against all Christian music? How about David singing and dancing before the Lord? How about this scripture from Acts?
      25But about midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns of praise to God, and the prisoners were listening to them; 26and suddenly there came a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison house were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone's chains were unfastened.
      Some people really get touched by God and set free from all kinds of problems, struggles & burdens, just like Paul and Silas did.

      David was not up on a stage entertaining people. He did not get paid to do concerts and he did not go on tour. It was NOT commercial entertainment by any means. David had REAL praise and did not use the Lord's Name in vain for his own fame and fortune.

      Tom Grossman Wow, awesome explanation Tom. Anyone who has been hit by the anointing knows that praise and worship in this setting is legit..as long as you don't worship the worshiper or the church it's located in. I wouldn't pay much attention to Ted, I think he's actually a tare, not a wheat. He fully comes against everything Bethel is and has does, you and I know they're not perfect, but God is prevalent there. If you continually come against the "wheat", you're not one of them. Not saying he's totally lost, but he's not here to project the Kingdom or the King...just the opposite.

      @Ahmed Morsi Good Question! God was all the light they needed!
      Genesis 1:3 "Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light."
      This will be the same way in the future!
      “19 The sun shall no longer be your light by day,
      Nor for brightness shall the moon give light to you;
      But the Lord will be to you an everlasting light,
      And your God your glory." Isaiah 60:19
      "And night shall not be any more, and no need of a lamp, and light of [the] sun; for [the] Lord God shall shine upon them, and they shall reign to the ages of ages." Rev. 22:5

      Erick_Kingdom Very Nice , actually the best i ever heard.
      But i was hoping for a scientific answer not miraculous answer.
      Btw
      Isaiah 60:19 is after the creation of the sun & moon.
      and Rev. 22:5 is at Dooms day.
      Thanks

      scientifically he planted the seeds (seedlings if you will) on the third day then on the 4th he sent light to germinate the plants so they grew the 4th day. Seeds need to go into the ground and then light is applied to cause life....

    • @joshgar33
      @joshgar33 10 лет назад

      I'll give you both answers.... yet, it'll be more on the spiritual side of it. The word "LET" is giving once again permission too. Therefore, the sun already was, but due to the fall of satan and 2/3 of the angels (or seen as the comet that destroyed the dinosaurs), this caused a huge cloud to cover the atmosphere of the earth, causing the "ice age". Then, Gen. 1:2 "the spirit of God moving of the surface of the water" it was the spirit of God moving around melting the "ice" and started to create the world we know today.
