I like the ideas that Bungie has for mixing things up in Raid encounters with the Pantheon stuff. Hope people like this stuff a lot and maybe they could do this a bit more often and more permanently to keep the raids a bit more fresh long term.
They should be making things easier, not harder. Keep the difficult stuff to master with adept drops as incentive. Raids shouldn't be clearable by 10 year olds with bad gear, but every mechanic doesn't need to be so complex with mechanics ontop of mechanics. Or at the very least, our power level should not be capped for damage. If I grind to +30 in a season, I should be rewarded for that with doing a lot more damage than someone at +20
It's easier to just abstain and not bother. If the raid loot ever becomes meta (it won't) then maybe it's worth the hassle later down the road to chase it. I'd rather be boiled in oil than play with randoms
Since Bungie is opening the floodgates with Prismatic and Final Shape, I once again am asking to give us Wolfpack rounds on Eyes of Tomorrow and Wardcliff Coil. Don’t be scared, let’s us have fun lol
I will say it may help analytics to release similar guides week to week, and then release a full guide after the 4 weeks. I imagine there will be increased demand at the start of each week, so maybe a quick guide and/or shorts would be nice. Analytics aren’t everything ofc, just saying we wouldn’t complain if we got these guides week-to-week!
Bungie really just throwing loot at us. Did a single run yesterday and ended with a haul of 8 raid weapons, 4 red borders, 2 adepts, a bunch of armor and 82 FUCKING SPOILS OF CONQUEST (which totally could be a bug cause that seems like an absurd amount for such an easy activity)
@@jgvtc559 I’d be interested to test that. My group did a fairly chill run and weren’t going for any of the time challenges so I’ll have to try for a quick run and see if anything changes. Would definitely be cool if it incentivized moving quick for more loot though.
Anyone who can clear Pantheon doesn't need any of those weapons. The people who need them aren't going to bother because it's too difficult. Huge failure of an event IMO. Great concept but too hard and people are tired of having to find 5 other people to hopefully be decent enough to do it. We need 3 man raids at this point, there's no reason they should still be 6 man. At the very least they should have dumbed down mechanics or whatever to make it LFGable. I wouldn't mind a DPS check being the only issue, but yeah... please stop making content that requires so many people/strangers. The sweet spot is 3 people, hell I'd love everything to be soloable. Pantheon might have been great if it was.

For those deciding between exotics: Eyes is super fun right now for onslaught. You have nearly infinite ammo with its intrinsic perk so its really fun. Touch is good for some niche builds but I would definitely sway towards Eyes for the fun factor.
The encounters remind me of Destiny 1 heroic versions. Nothing too crazy that’s added, but enough to spice it up a bit and keep you on your toes. Cant wait to see what the other encounters have in store for us 😅
For anyone having issues with the fire tornadoes in Explicator, 2x fire resist on chest can help, even better if you're solar and running a healing nade.
Make sure to grab the exotic! Had a teammate not interested in touch of malice leave and try to hand to shaxx to continue the quest. He had to redo the entire thing
Golgoroth tormentor (and I believe Atraks tormentor) despawn when you get to those respective DPS phases, fyi. If your fireteam is poorly composed for defeating them, might be worth just avoiding
Datto, Caretaker actually takes increased damage once you exceed his health gate- your advice to stop when its gone is pretty much the exact opposite of what people should be doing.
For the planets fight if you just stand in the middle of the plate the fire tornado doesn't hit you, and tormentor just leaves when dps starts so you don't even have to focus him.
Might try this out. In all my 3k+ hours in the game, I don't think I've raided since Leviathen. I do plenty of dungeons, done a few solos, and am generally decent at the game, but finding the uninterrupted time required to learn new raids (not to mention to find someone who'll teach) is rare as is.
I knew Thunderlord was a decent option when we got to Zo'Aurc. Everyone else was going crazy with keeping the right Izanagi/Crux Termination hotswap rhythm and I just vibed with Falling Star Thundercrash and Thunderlord. 10/10, can't wait to get curbstomped in week 4.
Also just an FYI crosses team didn’t wipe to Tormenter they attacked the second replicator instead of the first so the first one blew them up. It did look like the tormnenter did it tho until they went back and looked

Datto’s raid explanations from his old videos made me laugh. I heard solar titans with sunspots and elemental wells 😂 if you are new and don’t know how to do these encounters. Disregard his weapon recommendations.

I love pantheon and its changes to the encounters. The taken phase of Golgy was actually kinda challenging for the first time in little bit. Had to stay on our toes. Adding a tormentor to planets was also fun.
Hey something i want to mention that maybe you didnt encounter but once you complete a ritual on caretaker any failures after will wipe you instantly. So nake sure to shoot those symbols

hey datto really liked the what to do in destiny and the craftable weapons to get . wanted to put a request in now that into the light is out could you possibly do a vid on meta weapons in pve and loadouts mostly for harder content with so many weapons out there i would love to have a list of what weapons to immediatly dismantle witch ones to keep an eye out for and which i should actually go and farm. Great vid watched it all even though i havent cleared a full raid since ttk d1 lol
This info's like everywhere online. You need to do some research instead of asking others to do it for you and present it to you. That's now how the world works, you will just be ignored every time. Aegis is generally the people go to to find out what's/what will be meta. He's one of the top sources for that kind of stuff in a sea of bad takes and misinformation. Go look his stuff up
@@Parallelocam i work 10-14 hours a day dont have time to do my own research in game but i have also made questions post on reddit seen other videos and now that its the weekend i have a list of weapons to grind for and can enjoy the free time i do have in game instead of doing research obviously there is other vids put there but i enjoy the way datto presents the information better so whats wrong with asking its ok if he doesnt make a video and ignore me but on the off chance it pushes him to make the vid itd be cool and i thought it worth a comment
For the third encounter datto lies. There are tormentors and fire tornados you need to worry about before dps starts. The tormentor will spawn shortly after you align the planets it is recommended you kill said tormentors before starting dps to avoid being shit on by said tormentor during dps phase.
the raid is VERY buggy, first encounter sometimes gorgon will not move or turn at the gaze holder. But good news about it being buggy, somehow the game said I got 1.5mil as a score which doesn’t make sense since i never beat it yet just got to planet’s n highest i had was like 200k or sum. Kings fall bane harrowed hand cannon with set stats, don’t know how i glitched it
For golgoroth, does the damage phase not start until after someone gets his gaze? I’ve tried soloing it just because it’s less painful than LFG’s as a newbie raider, and I can’t seem to get it to start after dropping the orb
do we know if there's a limit to the raid exotics you can pull? i'd heard somewhere you could only get two so i was trying to figure out which of the three i'm missing to prioritize, but if there's not a limit then i might as well get all three

Yeah, it was just incredibly unlucky to have the first clone spawn all the way at the back.

Just so people know, 3x class ability modifier stacks with well and other buffs, and does 20% extra damage which is multiplicative with other buffs
Something that wasn’t mentioned about the tormentor: it’s a non-boss one. This means you can freeze, suspend, etc and even finish it if needed.

I am utterly shocked at the amount of people who struggle with Golgoroth. I got a clear with 2/5 of the LFG groups I joined getting past Golgoroth.

One tormentor spawns on bottom floor when the 3 servitors are killed. On top floor, one will spawn when you use an ejection port.
