Good stuff. Don't be so hard on the original grades/cases. Those were done by people who trained the current graders. They set the standards. :) With that said, understand that any grade is just a snapshot. Would advise people not to chase stickers and use their own eyes all the time!
Great episode! Thanks John!
Thanks for watching 👀 🙂
Those are some nice loose graded figures that sold 👌 Love that Lili Ledy Jawa so much better than the vinyl cape Jawa. Looks 10x better😉Is the open hand Darth Vader Hungary version, is that referring to his right hand? Thanks for the updates 👍
Yes sir open hand for the saber versus closed no saber
Thanks AFG
Thanks for watching 👀
Nice spanish Yoda.
Thank you for watching 👀 🙏
Good point: If we compare it to the stock market, since this market is not much different, Jeff is clearly a whale and he is selling... But he is not selling on the crest of the wave, he is selling while we are going down. So I don't think he chose the timing of the sale based on that. Maybe he chose it based on something he sees coming in the future... (continue falling) But I think it's really a decision based on a change of direction in his life. We will have to see if he sells everything or keeps some special pieces, perhaps we will never know.
How will it impact the market? Initially, whoever is looking for a special piece will buy it now and whoever has a similar piece to sell in the near future will not get the same sales price.
As for the future, like the stock market, this is a cyclical market. I know we're going down, but we've also gone down in the past. The positive points are that Star Wars is kept up to date, that is, children are watching it. I am sure the content will improve in the future and those children will remember their parents and grandparents. There will be nostalgia. They may not collect everything, but vintage Star Wars figures will still be collectible, especially the most precious pieces, in excellent condition (the rest of the pieces will surely disappear with our generation). Love your vids!
Thanks for the thoughtful insights and for watching!
Random question. In your opinion what should the average cost be for an R5 D4 red bar. In basic decent condition. Something that would grade between 75 and 80.
I would say $400 to 450
So far behind on your videos
