2033 was the year Ronnie was originally supposed to be released from prison, so showing an older version of his daughter was needed in the fact that he lost a portion of his life, and his daughter's.
Actually, that's not correct. From an interview with Ronnie himself, he went to see a medium at one point years ago and was told by her that he would die in the year 2033. He in fact has a fake tombstone that he had made to symbolize this and keeps it in his home to remind him. This is what Ronnie claimed during an interview and tour of his home. This was only a year or two ago. He was never convicted of the actual murder of the individual, but was convicted of being the cause and being an accessory to murder. He was only given about 10-15 years in prison if I remember correctly. He would have been released from prison several years before 2033 anyways so saying it represents his prison release date is wrong. I've been a hardcore fan of Ronnie since ETF dropped their first song.
The sentence he ACTUALLY SERVED was only two and a half years and not because of the conviction either. He did the time in prison for a violation of his terms of probation. Please check your facts before you regurgitate them.

I don't know if any one has mentioned this before, Ronnie not only writes the lyrics and music, he also plays the instruments while it's being recorded. Just think on that for a minute. The man seriously has it all. He really is the music god just like the lyrics say.

i know im super late to this and im not sure if someone already pointed this out but Ronnie stated multiple times that he believes he's gonna die in 2033, like he "knows" that's his due date and even has shown in a mtv cribs like video, he has a tombstone in his house with his name and 2033 on it. So when he wakes up in this video and his daughter is older, he freaks out because she says its the year of 2033. The year he strongly feels is the year he's gonna leave this earth. Again late to the party but i wanted to toss that little bit in there in case anyone missed or dont understand the significance to ronnie and the year 2033.
