Hey Chris - hope you are good? Went to see Tyketto last night -Newport , Wales. You weren't there!! i was so looking forward to seeing you play. I just realised you left last year. I had not read that article about you leaving. Great tutorial - Good luck in Atlanta - and hope you and your family are OK? Neil
I won this CD when it came out on a local radio station back home o Long Island and it was probably the only thing I listened to for about a month or so!!! I LOVE this song!!! Nice job Chris!!!

Love the Anniversary PRS. I worked for them for a few years.
It’s my favorite guitar, I have a blue custom 24 too but this one just seems to feel more comfortable.
Nice playing Sir🙂🤟🎸👑
Dude that was informative, and entertaining, lol you did this great, love the stories you tell in between, this was one of the best, (and still is) songs from my teenage days, growing up to 80s metal, which in my opinion is still the best...I am now 54, still play guitar in and out of bands,, and still love this riff/solo and song...80s metal rules..!!!!! You rock brother, love this play thru tutorial
Just heard Forever Young on Planet Rock - classic tune and a BIG Tyketto fan. Thought "I never did learn how to play that", cue 5 seconds into this video - subscribe button clicked!

Magic Chris!!! Always wanted to get this down!
Thanks so much Chris, I found the video few minutes ago and I am so glad about how well You explain every detail.
It will be so much fun to exercise that song and learn every part (not sure if I can manage the speedy parts).
But anyway that riff is so strong, it always makes me feel sooo good. And when I will be able to play this, man
it makes me feel even better :-D
Thank you for this lesson!
Great stuff! Thank you for that!
Saw you guys last year in London & you bloody smashed it 🤟😷🤟
Great video man I love this song
thank's a lot really clear and really good job for us
Thanks so much. Been piecing this together with live performance videos and by ear ... missed a lot of the fill and transition bits.
Hello from Worthing- almost your neck of the woods. Thank you so much for teaching this awesome track, it's really helpful to see how it's played properly. I started working this out a long time ago, but I kind of borked it up, so set it aside. Time to get back to it I think. Cheers!
Thank you for this break down not to motivate myslef to pick mine up and start playing again :)
If only I could play :-) Great class
Man, thanks! Nothing else to say!
Why can I not find a backing track for this AMAZING song!!!??? 😳 Excellent tutorial, I may be able to play it in around 10 years or so! 😁
Lots of thanks. I figured it out by ear quite years ago, but something was sounding out of place with the power chords. None better to solve the mystery.
Long life to 80ish palm mutings riffs.
This is more than my favorite song!Is there a way you can share your Kemper settings? Also guitar tab? Many thanks!
Thank you
Thanks a lot for this very informative breakdown of one of my favourite songs, looking forward to the next instrumental 🤗
Thank you Mark, stay tuned for the next one :)
Hi Chris, if you find yourself at a loose-end what about breaking down, ( Rubicon Cross - Save Me Within) Fantastic song just has that great mix, best regards Mark, stay safe.
aweaomw
Good job man! What's the humbucker in bridge, I like the sound very much, 80' classic ❤!
Nice! Something more to learn during this dreadful time. Thanks for posting this. Any chance you could do "Could You Believe" from Pride? My dad got me into you guys back when he saw you live. I usually post lessons of things myself but it's nice to sit back and enjoy learning from one of the best! Keep up the great content!
Oooh, good idea, i'll look into that. I'd have to learn it myself. haha
@@Noosefrenzy thanks! Haha I understand that. Whatever comes next I look forward to learning it. Stay safe!
Could you teach us drag the river?
Fascinating and really helpful many thanks chris :) would love to see 'Strength in Numbers' and 'Rescue Me' looked at if at all possible as the tapping runs are some of my most fave super tasty! Stay safe ! alex
Much appreciated Alex, i'll see if i can get to those songs :)
Chris can you do a riff raff for the song Wings?
Thanks
What happened to the ESP guitar that appears on the video?
Nice tutorial!!
Wich profile of the intro do you use on the Kemper? i'ts sounds great!!
Hi John, It's my own patch. I profiled my Blackstar HT Stage 100 Mark II using an SM57 and a Sennheiser e609. Thanks for listening.
Did Brooke St. James played this on the record?
Little correction Chris. 4:53 after the F power chord the C drops to B and F stays. No E there :) Also on chorus after every chord when it goes to C 3rd inversion (GC) these is always B before C (GB- GC) :) Or that's how I heard and played it ruclips.net/video/amGea97H4S0/видео.html
no sleeping....
What is tne tunning
What amp model you using in the kemper? Sounds like a friedman
It's actually a profile of my Blackstar HT Stage 100 mk2. I do love those Friedmans though 😎
@@Noosefrenzy nice!!
This isn't even the current lead guitarist. None of them sound like Brooke.
No Brooke St. James = No Tyketto......
