I began to accept that fact after watching Ice Fantasy Destiny, but I can't just stop myself from expecting a happy ending for their story (perhaps a S3 or special episode will do). Despite accepting the fact that their fates are in the tragic side, I'd still want their story to be happy and for them to live a happy life. This is indeed (Shi and Yanda's) a beautiful story with a tragic ending 😭😭😭 That "I LOVE YOU/I LIKE YOU" part makes me really sad and depressed. He looks so sad and about to cry. There's no fireworks from Yanda upon dying anymore, no smile from Shi upon looking at the sky, he catched Yanda's hand upon falling, unlike from S1. It shows us that the two of them already accepted their fates. Yanda already got Shi's answer from her question long time ago and Shi already delivered his feelings to the girl he truly likes. Still, it's the saddest part 😭😭😭
the reason why it's their fate is because they accepted that it's their date, Shi's grandmother kept saying that they have to accept the destiny and they can't run away from it and they all agreed, I think if they truly didn't believe it and they tried to fight with it they would win
I love this couple so much, the relationship was so drastic but I loved every moment. Kong Shi loved her back...even though it was so hard for him to say to her.
Shi knows from the first that he has feeling for her, he can't attack her even with the control of the sword spirit he stopped when she told him she's Yanda and he keep saying they can't be friends or they're enemies so she stop having feeling for him because he knows they can't be together and didn't want to hurt her feeling unlike Lan Shang he used her and played with her feeling many times. Also when he was the sword spirit and didn't remember anyone but he told his mother or father to not kill her and Ka sou and in the second season he only trusted her to be at his side all these years and didn't trust the one who were loyal to him and his brother because he knows as soon they have to choose between him and Ka sou they will choose Ka sou.
He's rushing to save her when she's in trouble and he tries to tell her they're enemies. I want to have an enemy that will protect me xD In second season Shi continues to use Lan Shang but tells Yan Da to stay out of his matters so she won't be hurt by his brother. Yan Da thinks he's pushing her away but he's again trying to protect her. When people ship Lan Shang with Shi I just facepalm xD
I agree with you except, I think he doesn't know that he loves her, he does love her but he doesn't know, in s 1 he was just realizing it but before he could, Yan Da died. In s 2, he did realize that he loves her but again, she died before he could even tell her.

Actually, I expected a kinda romantic story, but now I'm watching 20th episode and there is almost no development of their relationships. I expected more. Season one I don't think Shi loved her. He saw her as a friend same as Lan. Due to the fact his grown into a man overnight. He only wants to make his big brother happy. His mind set is simple...cant comprehend love yet. I think they chanced season 2 into more romantic ending due to the fans. Chinese drama is like that...fans control the ending.

When Yan Da was best and most beautiful friend. And he told her in second season that he loved her from the beginning. Replying to Yan Da that said she loved him from the first time she saw him. Just because he just grew up, doesn't mean he didn't comprehend love. If he loves Ka Suo, he knows what love is and being young only makes people fall in love more. More with their hormones than anything so Shi might recognize it as a crush but with time it clearly developes.
