This is a fiction story. It's a fantasy about the conversations that never happen when a wife is intending to cheat on her spouse. It's also a betrayed-spouse power-fantasy, with all the "hacking emails", and spy-camera crap. IRL, a wife knows if she's married to a cuck or not. And the only way she'd confess to an affair is if she's already test-driven her AP a few times, and positioned so she didn't really care if the marriage collapsed.

Withdrawing all the money from shared account leaving her without any? Poisoning with her clothes with the intention of bodily harm? Threaten to physically drag her out, risking injury and legal troubles from him? This guy would've lost the divorce trial and would have a plethora of accusations against him, which could lead to jailtime. If any of this was real. And the lawyer said he did good by recording? Without consent from her or approval from the hotel? Yeah, no. All in all, 3/10. At least TRY to make these fake-a$$ stories sound somewhat true.
Cliches on these Reddit stories help to actually tell when it is fake or crafted to sound real, but all these details are lame-ass attempts to gather attention from video makers

This story is so fake. For the last 10 years, I have stayed at so many different hotels for between 100 to 200 nights each year. Unless you are at some Boutique Hotel, & certainly not at a chain like the Hilton, your room is never ever given to you 1 or 2 weeks in advance, it is not even assigned to you until you check in. So he can miss us with that BS that he knew it was room 125 one or two weeks in advance. Such a joke. Why do people even write things like this when they are so far from being true, it is beyond me.

Difficult to listen to. It wasn't the cheating that bothered me, but rather how fake it felt. I was constantly cringing at the lack of effort. Not your fault, though-you did a great job telling the story.
The fact that she made the request to sleep with another man; that alone meant the marriage is done. The fact of the matter is. Regardless to what the husband wanted. the seed to cheat had already been planted. 1 way or another, sooner or later she will without a doubt cheat, Any wise man would understand that. and immediately upon hearing those words, would begin initiating divorce proceeding, moving monies around etc.
If u are using someone elses content to make your "own" content, atleast put some effort into it so we know who is speaking rn. Compared to telltale for example, the gameplay in minecraft is plain boring, just jumping while I do have some fun watching the jumping puzzles in telltale stories. Second, even though, and there I give you some credit for, telltale uses an AI voice, it's still far easier to follow the stories. So like I said, put some effort into the narrating. I love a good story, but there are a lot of things in the first one that just don’t add up. If the ex-wife wanted to, she could definitely take legal action for unauthorized access to her email. The story itself could even be used as evidence. Plus, there are laws against illegal surveillance-installing cameras in a hotel room and recording people is a big no-no, no matter what your intentions are. The guy who was with the ex-wife could also take legal action because of the illegal surveillance, which makes the whole thing seem even more far-fetched. And while it might seem funny to put pepper spray in someone’s underwear, that’s actually considered battery. If she had a severe reaction, it could’ve landed her in the hospital and made things much worse. All said and done, you're looking at unauthorized access, illegal surveillance, battery, and emotional distress, it would've done more damage to him and his reputation if she chose to file a lawsuit. Am I correct about this?
TW spoilers and major doubts of the story being real I will say, you lost me at the pepper spraying the panties without mentioning it literally gassing the entire room. If anyone has ever sprayed pepper spray anywhere besides outdoors or in an extremely well ventilated area, you know it fills the area. I had my doubts about how real the story was, but hey, it's more fun to listen to now, knowing likely no one got hurt cause these people probably aren't real. I gave the hotel room camera setup the benefit of the doubt because maybe it's a different country with different laws or OP bribed cleaning staff and didn't mention it.
Alot of inconsistency to the story (side details mentioned before that are not visible and has no impact in the future). Sounds like fake story "dude perfect (selfproclaimed)" would make. First story: honestly, I feel terrible for the OP in the case of his wife cheating on him, but at the same time good on him for prepping and leaving. but also, this woman is stupid, especially for the types of cheating stories that I’ve heard not only does this woman tell him that she plans on cheating, but she generally was surprised that the OP would understandably be against her trying to cheat on him, but then on top of that being surprised that not only does the OP move to another bedroom so he doesn’t have to sleep in the same room as her, but then, even when she basically makes it clear that she has no intention of not cheating on him, but has the nerve to talk about let’s get past this she would rather violate their marriage than actually work on it by not cheating on him, and then is surprised the OP is divorcing her the biggest hypocrite is the ex-wife.

Sounds fake. Usually with this kind of story, there would be updates because of the wave of emotion onto op. Second of all, op took this a bit too well. It's like he had the plans before the plans were made. It seems the op is very smart since he got their emails and phone numbers yet that smart of a person has been married for over 10 years to a dumb bimbo? I think not. Plus rigging a hotel room with cameras is illegal even if it's to catch a wife cheating because it's an invasion of privacy so therefore cannot be used as evidence for a lawyer. Also somewhat contradicting when he goes to a bar and has dinner and a few drinks but all of a sudden, say he doesn't like drinking near the end? Yeah this seems fake

You can tell when someone is truly recounting events and when someone is making it up as they go. That’s one reason to hate writers of reddit. These people know others don’t care to read their fiction so they pass it off as a true story. Really get under my skin.
I spend a good part of my time on Reddit, so I can spot a fake story somewhat. The first one is full of such stupidity I honestly couldn't listen. Recording without consent? Withdrawing all the money from shared account leaving her without any? Poisoning with her clothes with the intention of bodily harm? Threaten to physically drag her out, risking injury and legal troubles from him? This guy would've lost the divorce trial and would have a plethora of accusations against him, which could lead to jailtime. If any of this was real.
And the lawyer said he did good by recording? Without consent from her or approval from the hotel? Yeah, no.
All in all, 3/10. At least TRY to make these fake-a$$ stories sound somewhat true.
Cliches on these Reddit stories help to actually tell when it is fake or crafted to sound real, but all these details are lame-ass attempts to gather attention from video makers

This story is so fake. For the last 10 years, I have stayed at so many different hotels for between 100 to 200 nights each year. Unless you are at some Boutique Hotel, & certainly not at a chain like the Hilton, your room is never ever given to you 1 or 2 weeks in advance, it is not even assigned to you until you check in. So he can miss us with that BS that he knew it was room 125 one or two weeks in advance. Such a joke. Why do people even write things like this when they are so far from being true, it is beyond me.

Difficult to listen to. It wasn't the cheating that bothered me, but rather how fake it felt. I was constantly cringing at the lack of effort. Not your fault, though-you did a great job telling the story.
The fact that she made the request to sleep with another man; that alone meant the marriage is done. The fact of the matter is. Regardless to what the husband wanted. the seed to cheat had already been planted. 1 way or another, sooner or later she will without a doubt cheat, Any wise man would understand that. and immediately upon hearing those words, would begin initiating divorce proceeding, moving monies around etc.
If u are using someone elses content to make your "own" content, atleast put some effort into it so we know who is speaking rn.
Compared to telltale for example, the gameplay in minecraft is plain boring, just jumping while I do have some fun watching the jumping puzzles in telltale stories.
Second, even though, and there I give you some credit for, telltale uses an AI voice, it's still far easier to follow the stories.

I love a good story, but there are a lot of things in the first one that just don’t add up. If the ex-wife wanted to, she could definitely take legal action for unauthorized access to her email. The story itself could even be used as evidence. Plus, there are laws against illegal surveillance-installing cameras in a hotel room and recording people is a big no-no, no matter what your intentions are. The guy who was with the ex-wife could also take legal action because of the illegal surveillance, which makes the whole thing seem even more far-fetched. And while it might seem funny to put pepper spray in someone’s underwear, that’s actually considered battery. If she had a severe reaction, it could’ve landed her in the hospital and made things much worse. All said and done, you're looking at unauthorized access, illegal surveillance, battery, and emotional distress, it would've done more damage to him and his reputation if she chose to file a lawsuit. Am I correct about this?

I will say, you lost me at the pepper spraying the panties without mentioning it literally gassing the entire room. If anyone has ever sprayed pepper spray anywhere besides outdoors or in an extremely well ventilated area, you know it fills the area. I had my doubts about how real the story was, but hey, it's more fun to listen to now, knowing likely no one got hurt cause these people probably aren't real. I gave the hotel room camera setup the benefit of the doubt because maybe it's a different country with different laws or OP bribed cleaning staff and didn't mention it.
Alot of inconsistency to the story (side details mentioned before that are not visible and has no impact in the future).

I already knew it was fake but the amount of time I said "god dAmn" while watching this is hilarious. Pretty convincing except for some things that didn't make sense like the cameras in the hotel room that he shouldn't have keys for and is illegal, the locks on the house being changed yet the wife was able to get into the house, and also the times the wife and "op" has a conversation is very confusing.
I wonder who are these women in these kinds of stories? She said "I really didn't expect you to get angry with me" obviously he'd get angry over this is she from another planet?
