BEAUTIFUL gun!! Wow. Have never even seen a Phoenix in person. My Sphinx SDP is one of my favorites. Also - was in Interlaken a few years ago - didn't know they were made there. Will have to go back!!!! (:
One of my favorite towns in Europe. They are made mostly by the same team that made the Sphinx. After the debacle between Sphinx and KRISS, The owner went back to Europe with his master gunsmiths and started again. That is called Phoenix, rising from the ashes from the KRISS problem. I enjoy your videos and I always appreciate when you stop by. Thank you.
What an outstanding firearm! I kept pausing the tabletop portions to admire the lines on this pistol. And it's always a treat to see the Drake as well. 👍👍
To me this Pheonix Predator and most the Pheonix models are like a modern take and representation of the SIG Neuhausen P210 aka "Pistole 49". The Swiss as usual strive to make the finest. As ussual great video.
Nice to see a Phoenix on the channel again. More fun to watch than the polymer wonders. I would love to see any and all types of videos showing Phoenix firearms. Thx.
Very nice and beautiful handguns. If i had to go the CZ/DS 1911 route, I would go for the DWX, it has the looks, ergos and best trigger due to 1911 plus they take P10 mags.
Wow. Never knew this brand existed. Im sure it must be the highest quality, knowing what SWISS quality has been and is for everything SWISS-MADE. My experience is within the audiophile products....Don't even ask about the stratospheric prices and quality of those 😢
I’m about an hour south of the Attic. I should probably go have a peek at these. I agree, Phoenix should open up the trigger guard for gloves more, like a Mark 23. For being in a cold weather country, you think they would have figured that out for the polymer gun, since that’s more likely to be carried. Although it’s still a big gun, so I’d rather see a compact for carry. Any compact should have the rear be integral with the optic and also do away with the fiber optic and go to nice night sites. The fiber is great, but not at night and the fiber can snag or come loose over time with recoil. Also, I’d love a decocker model in the compact (I know, the trigger wouldn’t be as crisp), so I could carry DA…but then I’d want a reach reduction kit right from the factory because the Phoenix is still a little long in DA. My CZs get so much better with reach reduction.
Changing the trigger guard is huge, cause it affects holster compatibility. Those are all competition pistols. Have you looked into the carry options of Tanfoglio?
You should make a trip and go see them. They are very nice and friendly folks. By the way, there is a compact in the works. I appreciate your comment and thank you for watching!
Thanks for the video! I'm a big CZ enjoyer and these Phoenix offerings seem to be the final and most impressive form great to see them detailed. Any idea if the Attic would branch out to other European pistol manufacturers? I would really like to see the Czech KMR's brought over to the USA, but they seem to be unobtainium for now. Phoenix, Arma Zeka, Alien, and B&T all found ways to make it over hoping for more cool stuff to make it as well; be well sir.
My guess is that they will come over when the current line up they showed at IWA24 has more settled in. They got lot of sales so the question is how long it takes to increase the output without any quality issues making that move. Thy plan way ahead I'm quite pleased with mine. The only thing they might want to change is not having one footprint but plates for all, and a decent manual. The czech websites and all but I wanted a parts list and an ex. view. Got an Umbra X that is lightened for idpa. Still 42oz, very balanced. The ergo grips make a big difference. For uspsa & ipsc the Spectra and Orca make more sense with the wider frame and bul mags. I hope Vortex brings out the 2-3 moa Def XL soon.
@@onpsxmember Thanks for the insight. I'm jealous glad you are enjoying your Umbra. Give the big dots a chance; the XL in 8 moa is my number one right now over the SRO and 507comp but I would try the new C-more RTS 3 as well (9 moa haha) could be the one!
@LVbibby I do not have information whether they plan to import the manufacturers that you mention. But give them a call and ask them. They are very friendly and helpful. I appreciate your kind words and that you took the time to stop by.
@@ew10j4turbo Phoenix Arms, under previous names like Raven and Jennings, was infamous for their cheap pot metal $50 pistols that were the 'saturday night specials' of their day.
would be nice if KMR would find an importer or partner with somebody to get into the USA market lots of CZ folks lined up to throw money at them. Maybe MD Polo can talk to Attic about bringing KMRs in with the Phoenix's going forward.
@@LVbibby Makes only sense if the capacity is there. Expanding too quickly is a bad idea. Nothing is disliked more in the US than waiting for something. No matter if it is a car or similar.
I’m sorry that’s all you got out of it. The intent was to show you three amazing pistols that most people will never see. It’s not a commercial. I received no monetary or any other type of compensation.
It has those California ballistics, high and left.

B&t makes a sphinx clone. But its got a polymer frame 😣

Fantastic firearm, Phoenix does such a great job making production firearms. Yes, please, more of all of their guns!!!
I’ll do my best! This videos get expensive! Thank you for stopping by.
Very nice pistol MD! Thanks for showing it off to us!
I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thank you for watching!

That is a good and appropriate analogy. Thank you for your kind words and for taking the time to stop by.
I have the last 2 models of phoenix, 2 of my favorite guns--shoots as good as any pistol I have including Atlas.

Thanks for stopping by. I will try to do more in the future. As you can understand, they are not inexpensive videos to produce 🙂
Reminds me of the sphinx
Same pedigree. The creator of the Sphinx is also the creator of the Phoenix line of pistols.

I'll give the C-More a look. If the whole window is red I can't miss. :D
So 3x or 6x the cost of a cz? Looks amazing

That expensive one has the weirdest trigger I’ve ever seen. Looks hideous. 😂
Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder right? It’s unorthodox, but very comfortable.
Phoenix as a name for the US firearms market is pretty unfortunate for anyone who lived through the 1990's.
Why?
@@ew10j4turbo Phoenix Arms, under previous names like Raven and Jennings, was infamous for their cheap pot metal $50 pistols that were the 'saturday night specials' of their day.
