Thanks, Pr Mark. I like the approach apostle Paul used, 1st Understanding the culture of the people he was witnessing to.
2nd. Treating people with respect & love and finally showing them the far beyond wisdom which they didn't know about behind the creation.
Yesterday i witnessed to a non believer with idols in his house, he was wondering how an eruption could occur in very cold conditions and he wondered how the glacier is melting....I listened to him until he finished speaking and i said that you see this earth on which this house was built, out of it comes cone that give us bread and under it, it is like fire..he listened and then posed a question to him that, is there a design without a designer? he replied NO. I then asked him what is the importance of your ears, eyes, mouth etc he said hearing, seeing and talking, I then challenged him and said how did your designer knew that when I put eyes on you, you will be able to see when sees not, nor hears how could he do a thing that he himself is not able to understand...so I concluded by telling him that God gave u ears to listen, eyes to see, mouth to speak because he hears, sees, and talks...he was amazed and I continue to pray to God to enlighten his mind and save that family..they're really good and hospitable people.

17:02 thank you Pr. Mark Finley for reminding us. Faithfulness is key.
The branches of the evergreen tree/Tree of Life are loyal in all seasons, the leaves are ever green in summer's heat but also in winter's snow and sleet. Paul and all those going for mission (Matthew 28:18-20) experience the climatic change but Jesus is saying "And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Jesus is faithful in supporting the branches to hope, to persevere, to bear much fruit in comforting and strengthening others in good and bad times. We learn from Jesus and He is will to grow in us, His character, His beauty of being faithful.
Help us Lord to remember that you are faithful and you have been faithful to your servant Abraham. You promised him many descendants, made a covenant with him that his descendants will be your people and you will be our God. That is the faithfulness you are exercising. Find us faithful too, dear Lord. We desire to be your people and we desire you to be our God in the New Jerusalem (Rev. 21:3)

Have you thought about Hannah doing mission in a toxic environment. At least for Paul, he could travel from place to place. No condition is easy. Hannah remained faithful, gave her only son to a home with child management problems. God is amazing. He was gentle to Eli and kind to Hannah putting both of them in positions of humility and submission for God's glory. God needed Eli to be involved; talk to his sons and stop eating meat from them. Sometimes the unreached are within our homes: spouses, teenagers, inlaws, adult children...
Samuel was in custody of Eli and grew up as the most trusted judge of Israel, that people refused to be led by his two sons and Saul, the king, sought Samuel even in death!
By God's grace, may we be faithful ✝️🙏as our Father in Heaven is faithful
