I love watching vintage tractors at work. The Nuffield and Leyland looked just great. I can't get interested in modern machinery at all. I think everyone would love to have grown up on a farm (at least for some of their lives.) Thanks for posting - great and interesting filming too..
It was nice to see .a Leyland tractor and a nuffield tractor with .all .wheel .drive it would ..be nice to see ..more classic British tractors with front .wheel assist and four wheel .drive from Jeremy .I believe there is a .Leyland .front .wheel. assist tractor .near ..where I . Live
hey there, thanks , i sometimes make a mess of video resolution, its a bit hit and miss, but i welcome your encouragement and will try and keep it up! :-)
Well worth the watch to see three Brays , a DB 1200 4WD and those Muir Hills . Like the Brays , just a shame they did lean backwards a bit , something that was quite common for 4WD conversions . As for the Brays , does anybody know what the turning circle is on those ? Is it Better than County ? Also what about the 4WD DB 1200 . Also I take it that is selene 4WD system on it .
Re Bray used to drive one, better turning circle than countys, very good traction but not very reliable as 4wd was perminaly engaged so tractor transmission got wound up and would fail usually with the tractor stuck in gear, bray part good nuffield part very poor . Repairs very expensive as whole tractor had to be taken apart in field to fix the transmission! Nice to see working though what did kill them was when safety cab regs came in as no cab manufacter made approved cabs to fit them.
The reason why the equal wheel Leylands are so rare is that they were N.B.G. They were not a great success at all because they had a nasty habit of breaking into two halves!

@Manorfarmdenton
it was the county down traction engine club show at greyabbey northern ireland. thanks, check out the other vids of this show
grew up with a 10/42 Nuffield, the most amazing about the British built tractors was how much work they did using so little fuel
Never drove a nuffield rode on them loved them a real fighter in the field 1060 was my favorite
The 384 is Tractor Art! 👏

What is 'front wheel assist?? In the UK, we only have 2wd or 4wd...

When i was cyldren, Nuffied 460 2wd was the best! More whork less fuel. Cheers from Monza Itay
Nice to see those early type four wheel drive tractors working. Good video.
I have never seen a tractor like that one before and that brand is new to me too. It looks to be powerful enough to do plenty of plowing.

Me gustan estos videos por k yo trabaje igual en el campo con un tractor Ford 5000 harando la tierra
That is exactly why they are rare. Keep up the good work my two are assending in value rapidly due to the high cost of scrap.
Perfect , I have also nuffield universal 1954 , M.A.N. 4/3 1962, Hanomag perfect 300 , 1964 john deere 2030 1977, john deere 4440 1987 .
