My father’s funeral was today and this was one of the songs for his services. Me and my dad weren’t always on the best of terms. In fact, we did have some difficulties and hardships, but naturally, as any father and son would, we did talk about what so has happened and everything, and naturally, we did let our troubles be put behind us and we did let bygones be bygones. As his health was rapidly declining, even after two heart attacks and a stroke, we actually were somewhat close than we ever really were before. Last week, his health was rapidly declining, and I called the ambulance and they said he had respiratory shock. At the hospital, February 9, 2023, 3:15PM, he died of respiratory distress. I can only imagine how well he is doing up there. I even hope he and my mother, who died four and a half years earlier of pancreatic cancer, are making peace with each other even when they divorced. I believe, if anything, he is at peace and is making peace with Mom. Dad? I can only imagine what it’d be like if you were still here. Truly, Dad, I miss you a lot.

God is moving in his life and I believe wants to use Justin to bring something of real meaning into this ever changing crazy world we're living in. A truly great man will emerge; just as in the case of Kanye. Whether you like him or not, it's clear where he stands and what he believes in. While difficult for him (Kanye) at my times, still he does not faulter nor does he fold. One of the strongest individuals on this planet today.
Why have I never heard of this guy before ? Watched I can only imagine last night and was totally blown away. What an inspiring film of hope, redemption, love and forgiveness. J Michael Finley was absolutely incredible and I truly hope this helps him with his career and we see loads more of him :-)
From what I remembered Mr. Finley wanted this to be perfect since it was an important moment in Bart's life, that he spent hours working on the song with Bart Millard and MercyMe themselves.

Over a year ago I lost my older sister, who was my best friend (next to my twin). Every time I hear this song, I can only imagine the grand reunion that is yet to come, because of the love of God.

I have been having a rough week. Thoughts that I'd erected as obstacles for myself had kept coming back. As a teenager I'd rebuked Him. I turned away from Him. For a long time I refused to believe in Him. One night I dreamed of giving myself to Him, and the joy that brought me and I couldn't shake that when I awoke. See I'd been blessed and blessed and blessed by him even as I said so many things I regret now against Him. He never turned his back on me. I've believed since early 2018. And I've had my trials and troubles, and especially this past few weeks. Those old thoughts kept trying to come back but I made God and Jesus a promise. I promised I'd never turn my back on Him, and I haven't. But I'd begun lately to start fearing death more than God Himself, and I don't think I need to tell you in this particular comments section why that's a bad thing. Today I read John 14:27 and I was moved to share it with family. I'll be honest, I don't share a lot of verses. But I obeyed, immediately. And that joy. The joy I dreamed of like 4 years ago. it hit me like a truck, a tonne of bricks, and a sack of potatoes all at once. I do not want you to congratulate me or try to make me feel any better for doing this because it doesn't get better than this. I cried, I laughed, my hands tingled and the endorphins rushing through my body and mind were like no other. God speaks to me and wants me to speak from Him through to others. When I originally watched this movie I think I cried. Sadly I can't remember. I listened to the original version of this today and I cried again. God moves me like no other. He convicts me, He keeps me on the path. I have not been the most studious believer in Him, and I have failed Him in many ways but He has NEVER and WILL NEVER fail me. It is an impossibility. He gives me peace. So Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you *Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.* John 14:27

We are all his people God is our father and Jesus is his son which makes him our brother. Our father loves and forgives our sins and our brother died on a cross for our sins to be washed away. Children of God believe in our father and know our brother protected us from his anger by taking our sins onto himself and washing them away with his own blood. This song has become an anthem to all of us who know God and it will remain that way even after we die because we know that we will see Him and be surrounded by His love and grace for eternity.

This is a beautiful song. I lost my mom two months ago, and I still miss her. When I watched this movie recently, it made me think of what she went through growing up, and I know she's dancing for Jesus. I can't help but cry now when listening to this song. It just reminds me of her will.
It’s about getting to know God and just seeing how compassionate he is for us, it’s about truly living a life for Jesus. Over a year ago I lost my older sister, who was my best friend (next to my twin). Every time I hear this song, I can only imagine the grand reunion that is yet to come, because of the love of God.

When I heard this song and watched the movie, so much became clear. I always knew God existed, I felt it and it always helped me along the way. Now that I have a child I know how much it affects everything, how I handle it. I really love him and I will always be there for him and God is always with me:) ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I saw this movie in theaters and it tears to my eyes knowing that we can only imgaine what it will be like in front of God the Father and the son I can only imagine that we will feel peace beyond what our minds can dream up I pray for those who don't understand who the Trinity really is

I have been having a rough week. Thoughts that I'd erected as obstacles for myself had kept coming back. As a teenager I'd rebuked Him. I turned away from Him. For a long time I refused to believe in Him. One night I dreamed of giving myself to Him, and the joy that brought me and I couldn't shake that when I awoke. See I'd been blessed and blessed and blessed by him even as I said so many things I regret now against Him. He never turned his back on me. I've believed since early 2018. And I've had my trials and troubles, and especially this past few weeks. Those old thoughts kept trying to come back but I made God and Jesus a promise. I promised I'd never turn my back on Him, and I haven't. But I'd begun lately to start fearing death more than God Himself, and I don't think I need to tell you in this particular comments section why that's a bad thing.
Today I read John 14:27 and I was moved to share it with family. I'll be honest, I don't share a lot of verses. But I obeyed, immediately. And that joy. The joy I dreamed of like 4 years ago. it hit me like a truck, a tonne of bricks, and a sack of potatoes all at once. I do not want you to congratulate me or try to make me feel any better for doing this because it doesn't get better than this. I cried, I laughed, my hands tingled and the endorphins rushing through my body and mind were like no other. God speaks to me and wants me to speak from Him through to others. When I originally watched this movie I think I cried. Sadly I can't remember. I listened to the original version of this today and I cried again. God moves me like no other. He convicts me, He keeps me on the path. I have not been the most studious believer in Him, and I have failed Him in many ways but He has NEVER and WILL NEVER fail me. It is an impossibility. He gives me peace.

We are all his people God is our father and Jesus is his son which makes him our brother. Our father loves and forgives our sins and our brother died on a cross for our sins to be washed away. Children of God believe in our father and know our brother protected us from his anger by taking our sins onto himself and washing them away with his own blood. This song has become an anthem to all of us who know God and it will remain that way even after we die because we know that we will see Him and be surrounded by His love and grace for eternity.

I saw this movie 2 years ago and brought me to tears I was trying to hold it back but this movie is definitely worth it 💯

Because the music industry is being ran by Satan worshipping lost souls and they would never allow this, but God is great and there is no stopping the inevitable.

This is a beautiful song. I lost my mom two months ago, and I still miss her. When I watched this movie recently, it made me think of what she went through growing up, and I know she's dancing for Jesus. I can't help but cry now when listening to this song. It just reminds me of her will.

I’m not a religious person but this was a great movie that I cried a bunch to and really loved! Life changer honestly.
It’s about getting to know God and just seeing how compassionate he is for us, it’s about truly living a life for Jesus. Jesus gave his life for me and I’ll give my life to him, I just wanna live for Jesus and let people take whatever they want from that. I’m glad you loved the movie it was awesome ! :)
