the amount of dirt you moved with a 160 size machine is impressive. You never get stressed, you just keep rolling. Every time i have something unexpected go wrong, i think “dirt boss doesn’t get pissed, he just keeps pushing through.” awesome work on this one
Lol nice! Yeah there's no sense in getting frustrated unless you're going to just quit.. not an option
@@DIRT-BOSS anybody can do the easy ones, it take skill to get the tough ones done.
The boy getting paid to have fun! Beautiful
Lol so true
It's 5AM EST and I'm watching lol, I enjoy this "house in the mountain" project DB. Looking at the weather channel for Windham , you guys get the big freeze Monday night-Tuesday morning temp drops in the 20's. You might need to call AC to help with the stone, would be cool to see you guys work together!
Yes it would!
You should definitely make a playlist out of this project. Hope you feel better soon and can get back at it!
New Video tonight
Boss that is rocky, wet, muddy and sloppy ground but you are very patient. You just do whatever it takes to get the job done. I am very impressed. If I wanted to build a new house up there I would most definitely hire you to do my excavating and concrete work. You won't stop until you know it is correct. Thanks for sharing the video with us. And please be careful brother.
You are correct Thanks buddy
Nicely done Mike!! Showing the plans at the end help clear out the fog in my brain😉 Muddyfeet gave you a shout out, wants to come up and help. That would be neat👍🇺🇸
Yes I seen that!
Hero Rock. It makes the operator look like a champion.
Thanks
Someone is going to have a great view... Stay Safe...
Yes sir thanks
I think you should give Andrew a call and have him bring you a couple loads of rock. What size stone are you using for this job? Good work again Mike. Don’t you wish somedays that the trackhoe would work like a telehandler and extend out an extra five or ten feet when you need it.
For sure always could use extra reach! Using #2 stone
Call him to do a collaboration on a job. That would be sweet.
super...james mccluskey
Nice job on digging that foundation!
Thanks
Jeff from Muddyfeet gave you a shoutout this morning on his video! Way to go!!! Tom
Awesome thanks Jeff is great
Busy man. That’s going to quite the pour. Nice work.
Yes for sure
Great video as always! Love your positive attitude throughout all your videos keep it rocking along!!
Thanks man
The "DIRT BOSS" is getting the job done!!💪
Thanks buddy
I always wear my seatbelt! Old man likes to feel secure
No doubt
What a ride you have a lot more to go good job
Yeah this job was quite the series
I'm sure you shrinked your 160, there is not enough space to swing a mouse, let alone a cat !!!
Always good to get phone calls, shame they happen when you least want them to....
You should have played the theme tune from Mission Impossible series as you climbed onto the bench 😂
Plans explained what you had to do and what you have done is a shed load extra !!!
Working long days is always more challenging in the dark, no doubt you will boss it Dirt Boss !!! 💪💪💪
Thanks buddy you know it
Yes i like that , call andrew camarata for Stone 🙂🇵🇹
That would be awesome
Yes i do agree that 2 solders
Thanks for another great video 👍
Welcome buddy
That broke up shale makes great fill
10/4
This was the week of balancing acts between you & ELITE with his 450' electric line trench. But in your case, it's a good thing you had that seatbelt on or you'd be hitting your head on the roof! You said this job was going to be a challenge and I couldn't imagine how you could do it, but it really has come out spectacular. You're working a LOT of hours, big guy, be careful!
Yes for sure! It's been crazy now it's raining!!!
I wasn't thinking country music when you were crawling out of that hole. I was hearing Flirting with Disaster by Molly Hatchet or Danger Zone by Kenny Logins. Glad to hear you were wearing your seat belt though. Stay safe out there Boss.
Yeah there's nothing cool about flipping an excavator on top of yourself at least stay in it!
It's beautiful on that mountain. Loved to snowboard and ski that mountain. Some of the houses around that area are like European chalets.
Yes they are!
Coming along ! Ready to see some stone and concrete now 👍🏼
Thanks
You could plant them a apple tree and a pear tree
Maybe
The base looks really good now and should support the house well. Tight worksites are a real pain though. I see a lot of concrete pump time ahead.
Yes definitely
Hey Mike, glad to see your back with some frequent content. My 5 yr old and myself love watching and following. We are from the Hudson Valley down off Interstate 84.
Nice!
Hey Mike, i watching you from Lebanon 🇱🇧 i'm a electrical and solar energy technician, and from i was so young i was interested about everything specializes in construction from A to Z, and i wana tell you that you do very good job Mike keep going 👌👍
Awesome thanks for watching Joe appreciate the compliment!
Leave it in there till you get your stone then you can use your skid steer to dump it in then use the big machine to put it in it right place
Sounds about right
Man that's a tight work site, good work on the footings Mike, gonna work out, it's looking pretta, thanks for sharing bud 💪💪🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thanks buddy yeah it's all coming together now
Great commentary Boss
Thanks bud
Nice work Mike! Amazing jobsite, great views too. Happy Thanksgiving to you and the DB Family!
Doug@ the "ranch"
Hey Doug thanks I appreciate it Happy Thanksgiving to you too!
It's coming together, looks good DB
Thanks buddy
A beautiful view but a hell of a place to build a house. Great job Dirt Boss Man.👍👍
Thanks Bud
I was thinking…. I’m lost. Wish I had a print to follow what is going on…. Then BAM! There is was. It all came together. Thanks Boss man.
Now about them porches… I remembered a story about a guy who hired a blonde to paint his porch red. When she was done she knocked on the door to collect her pay. He looked down and saw that the porch floor was still grey.
He told her wouldn’t pay until it was finished.
She says, “It is!” As she pointed to the shiny red Porsche in the driveway!
You know boss, it pays to double check the plans!!!
😂 yup
Thank you for this one! You've maintained confidence for this job since the start so why should we be concerned? The variables are many and come quick (as does your mind to them!) And like others I felt better at the end seeing what got done against the print and your usual CONFIDENT explanation. Thank you, stay safe (warm) and HUGS for ALL! Sonny
Thanks buddy!
Wow, that looks dangerous. I will glad to see the concrete going in. It should be a nice home. Thanks for sharing and have a great day.
Thanks buddy yes hopefully the temperature stay good for us
@@DIRT-BOSS Me too, hope it will stay warm so you can get your work done.
Fantastic job sir 👍👍👍
Thanks
@@DIRT-BOSS 👍👍👍
looks like a great build, showing some great operator skills on this one.i hear you on the dark to dark, been doing that myself for the last 2 weeks, trying to beat real winter.looks good keep up the great videos
Thanks buddy
Looks great Thanks for sharing Mike 👍
Thanks Frank
Good job Dirt Boss. How do you put diesel in those machines? Is there guys that u call to fill up? The guys with the fuel tanks in the bed of pick-ups?
No I have a fuel cell in my van
Mike I’m wondering if where the shale was peeling off is that where the water was coming through????? I’m not sure but expansion and contraction over the years may have given it that quality to peel like that???? I know it had a pipe I’m thinking all the water 💦 didn’t make it into the pipe?????
That is most likely correct
Man you sure got yourself evolved in a complicated project. Wonder how you , and the builder ever bid a job like this one. HA. To bad they don’t reinforce the garage floor and expand the basement area.
That's what I said let's put some hollow core planks up there pour 3-in floor on top of it and have a secret room!!
Great job buddy
Thanks man
Did you/GC/Owner consider making the garage a slab on deck for more space?
No
We're you using your back pocket seatbelt too
😂
Give Andy a ring he will sort you
I hear you
Who gets to pour that? 13’ wall is a PITA wall height unless you have a slew of 5’ panels for some reason.
JTS is pouring it Yes we're doing 1 foot footing 4ft 12-in wall stacked 9 ft panel on that
Is that going to have a high ceiling "basement" or is all that digging to get to virgin ground? Thanks DB
Yes virgin ground 9-ft ceilings
@@DIRT-BOSS Wowza..definitely fit a tall Christmas Tree in there!
👍👍🤘🤘🤘
I watch Andrew Camaratas videos as well as yours does he live close to you
Yes Thanks for watching
How is the young man Colin doing?
Colin hasn't been around in 2 months went back to school
@@DIRT-BOSS aha ok cool
I'm saying screwy Louie from now on
Lol you know it!
first comment
Yes 💪🏼
