the amount of dirt you moved with a 160 size machine is impressive. You never get stressed, you just keep rolling. Every time i have something unexpected go wrong, i think “dirt boss doesn’t get pissed, he just keeps pushing through.” awesome work on this one

It's 5AM EST and I'm watching lol, I enjoy this "house in the mountain" project DB. Looking at the weather channel for Windham , you guys get the big freeze Monday night-Tuesday morning temp drops in the 20's. You might need to call AC to help with the stone, would be cool to see you guys work together!

Boss that is rocky, wet, muddy and sloppy ground but you are very patient. You just do whatever it takes to get the job done. I am very impressed. If I wanted to build a new house up there I would most definitely hire you to do my excavating and concrete work. You won't stop until you know it is correct. Thanks for sharing the video with us. And please be careful brother.

I think you should give Andrew a call and have him bring you a couple loads of rock. What size stone are you using for this job? Good work again Mike. Don’t you wish somedays that the trackhoe would work like a telehandler and extend out an extra five or ten feet when you need it.

I was thinking…. I’m lost. Wish I had a print to follow what is going on…. Then BAM! There is was. It all came together. Thanks Boss man.
Now about them porches… I remembered a story about a guy who hired a blonde to paint his porch red. When she was done she knocked on the door to collect her pay. He looked down and saw that the porch floor was still grey.
He told her wouldn’t pay until it was finished.
She says, “It is!” As she pointed to the shiny red Porsche in the driveway!
You know boss, it pays to double check the plans!!!

Mike I’m wondering if where the shale was peeling off is that where the water was coming through????? I’m not sure but expansion and contraction over the years may have given it that quality to peel like that???? I know it had a pipe I’m thinking all the water 💦 didn’t make it into the pipe?????
