Hello Robert and Christie! This is a great overview of the Grand Valley!! Thank you very much for sharing your experience and knowledge!! Have a super rest of your week. I need to fence off some time with my wife and have each of us list the features we'd want in our house search.
Kool Video. I have been doing well here in Grand Junction since I looked at your last video. I am learning how to navigate and really looking at all the different areas, so far I do like it.
Great overview..... A neighborhood not covered would be what I call City Center or Down town where I enjoy living, in a smaller older home, and willing to pay a premium price for. Because of convenience and immediate access. Now on the Grand Junction scale that same convenience and access and value would be that be you can walk, bike ride, E Scooter, from your home to areas like Main Street, The Library, Lincoln Park, Amtrak, LosColonias Park, Colorado Mesa University, Hospitals Entertainment and Dining. Where travel distance can be measure in blocks opposed to miles. And that is lifestyle that people like myself seek out. Its really cool to see all the new Apartments and Town Homes currently being built City Center.
Outstanding job Sir! We change our minds on where in the Valley we want to call home everytime we come out ( four times now ) We’ll probably drive you nuts when our time comes😂
Thank you so much for doing these videos! Still trying to zero in on an area. May I ask, from your boots-on-the-ground perspective, which area/neighborhood has the most crime, and which has the least? I feel like the info I have googled isn't entirely accurate (mostly skewed high). Thank you again! I appreciate you guys!
Hi Susie!! Thank you for watching! So, as Realtors, the Division of Real Estate frowns upon Agents "Steering" folks to, or away from, an area or speaking directly about Crime Stats. That said, you would be correct in assuming that the numbers are "Skewed" as we're a small town. My analogy is, if you have a town of 2 people and 1 person steals a pack of gum, your crime rate would be 50%. We have never had an issue. Ever.
@@LivinginGrandJunctionColorado LOL I figured - hesitated to even ask but then I hit "reply" on a wing and a prayer, hoping I wasn't being offensive! Thank you so much for your response!
Hi Robert and Christie! My wife and I have been silently following your channel for a while now. We just moved to Grand Junction last Feb2023 from the Philippines and considering staying in Grand Junction for good. We plan to acquire a family home but don’t know where and how to start. Hope you can help us..
