I'm honestly surprised that Alfred didn't kill Superman. It's been pretty clearly established in the past that Alfred doesn't share Batman's views on killing
A year late to this but let’s be real. Only reason Alfred managed to mess him up that bad was because Superman was in a state of shock after what Batman told him. This was a few days after Lois died, he was still in the process of becoming a tyrant he’d eventually become. No way he’d be able to snap his neck and kill him there.
@@CT-zi8em well it’s kind of hard to tell. From what I gathered Alfred is much more skilled in combat vs Superman who mainly relied on his strength. @@SubduedRadical definitely applies to Injustice Superman
Clark was cruel and harsh because he was convinced that killing, strict order, and totalitarian style rule was the best way to stop crime. “Stop crime, before it happens” and whatnot. In the end he let his grief and fear corrupt him (though it’s not ALL his fault tbh. Diana...had a part in it as I’ll say)
Injustice 2, some time after Clark killed the Joker; he was about to execute all of the Arkham inmates when Bruce and an unwilling Damian (who later betrayed him) intervened:
Bruce-“first Joker, now this... when does it stop?”
Clark-“when there’s no more crime! That’s the problem with fighting for truth and justice, the battle never ends!”
Clark is actually a tragic character in this universe imo. Good intentions with a psyche and moral compass wrecked by a combination of the Joker, him not processing his grief and trauma in a healthy manner, and people like Diana encouraging him to walk that path.
I feel like there was a chance of turning Clark back at this point. Not later on though, when he fully embraced his new ideology and mindset.

I know we meme about it, but this is such an emotional scene. That's Alfred essentially protecting his son...He was there for him after that night in the alley, when he became Batman, his life as Bruce Wayne and he's here for him now.
Yes. At that point Bruce truly is his son. Cue Yondu's last words, because they sure as hell work with Alfred to Bruce.
I ended up reading a Young Justice based story where The Team and members of the Justice League were reacting to MCU movies (the author hasn't even gotten to Iron Man 2 yet), and they had it that Bruce ended up taking off shortly after Stain's villainous agenda was revealed (just straight up left to go back to the manor to be alone and even avoided Alfred). He was upset because he saw just how many parallels he had with Stark, so the thought of Stark's father-figure betraying him in such a way messed with his head, and it definitely seems like the reaction would've been accurate. Alfred has always been there for him since his parents death, so to watch the story of someone whose life parallels to his own (albeit different in the finer details, but similar enough that he could truly relate to Tony) ends up getting betrayed by their father-figure would certainly strike a chord within him, and give him something to break down over. Especially when it comes to the Young Justice incarnation of Batman, since (if you ask me) his broody nature and whatnot are significantly toned down (and I mean _significantly_ ) compared to the usual.
This is all just a testament to the bond he shares with his father-figu -no...his dad. If you ask me, Alfred is the true man behind the bat.

I have got to say I am very impressed with your uploads. I was born in the '60s and comic books were a great part of my life. They inspired me and most of all gave me the courage never to give up. I am grateful to you for bringing comic books back with the panel and reading them myself. Thank you
Memes aside, I find it cool how Alfred commands the respect of even the most powerful man out there. And even after he has gone mental, he still seems to respect Alfred.
Bruce: MY SPINE!!! Why is it always the freaking spine?!
"Still feeling the sting of the headbutt I gave you?"
The sheer confidence and absolute balls, with not a single shred of fear. Alfred didn't hesitate to taunt Supes.
are we just going to move past the fact that alfred kicked superman so hard that his shoe turned into little shreds?
That headbutt. THAT HEADBUTT!

Gotta love how, when Alfred kicks Superman in the face, his shoe got destroyed like you'd expect it to.
Superman is strong, but nothing is stronger than family.
Alfred walked away to punk him a second time. The power in not arguing when you know you are right.
Alfred punked Supes just like Bruce always does. The bat doesn't fall far from the tree.
"Bruce always does" - lmao since when, where ? Batman fanbois always make up the dumbest shit I ever hear. Why are you so desperate to have Batman humiliate Superman ? 😂😂😂😂
@@lkvideos7181 Exactly! I swear Batman fanboys are just the absolute worst. Literally unbearable.
@@lkvideos7181 Batman owns Superman. You know it. Just embrace it.
@@araizashraf Duh. Supes is just an overrated boy scout.
@@r.j.w7924 Unbearable is people believing that because Supes is way overpowered that he can't be defeated by a strategist.
Part of me wonders what was going through Superman’s head when he realized what he had done, to whom he had done it to, he used torture on Batman. He considers Batman as a friend, a brother, and he stood shocked. I think at the time Alfred grabbed Clark’s shoulder, if could have been resolved with talking, because at that moment he was Clark, not Superman, but Clark. Maybe he was thinking about what his parents would say, would he treat them the same way, what about Lois, other members of the Justice League like Flash or Green Lantern.
So two what-ifs here:
What if Alfred has just curb stomped super man’s head off and ended the war that way?
What if they hadn’t left and had talked to super man, could they have talked him out of being so evil later on?
Superman: You get back here *RIGHT NOW ALFRED!*
Alfred: Nah, I don't really feeeeel like it
Who thinks Alfred is simply "ONE HELL OF A BUTLER"
Há! I got that reference!
@@odiwalker3973 Is it a Flashpoint reference or something else?
@@rooban989 It's a reference to an anime called Black Butler, it's on Netflix

Alfred has military training and Clark has no training, so even without the surprise attack Alfred could easily beat his ass
Alfred is such a gigachad
Alfred: would you like me to serve dinner sir?
Batman: please Alfred. What is it?
Alfred: an alligator that was tenderized thoroughly by me while it was still alive
"Batman's dad defends him from Superman."
Everyone gangsta until Alfred calls you by your full name. When that happens, I bet even Darkseid would tell Superman to run
So are we supposed to call you a comedian now? Or what?
This is why no one ever messes with Alfred
Plot twist, it was actually Alfred trained Bruce to become Batman.
Didn’t he actually learn how to fight from alfred?

Superman so scared of Alfred after getting beat up and roasted hard he had to send Zsasz to kill him.
But then the unkillable Alfred came back alive from the dead.
But it wasn't Superman's regime that sent Zsasz, he went after Alfred on his own.
