They are okay… I had 2 out of 6 lose air in about 2 years. I think they’re too small for modern racing, but some will say it forces you to be better. I believe a pack of 3 of them is around $15 so it’s not a bad deal
No, DJI drones are not designed for freestyle flying like that. They are more stable and intended for cinematic purposes. Additionally, the Avata 2 is too large and heavy for indoor use; you risk damaging it.

Any gate for whooping is fine really. But if I wasn’t so cheap, I would drop a lot of money on some real, lightweight, fabric gates and flags
