I love how simple you make it! I'm definitely going to try to repurchase an old blanket to make a jacket because it looks sooo comfortable! And the elastic is a great idea. Thanks for dropping some knowledge queen 👑🙏🏿
What's the use of the protrusion used in pants, esp the back part of the part? What happens when I overdo the protrusion and underdo t? Is it the same amount of protrusion that works for everyone or do I have to find for myself what works best for me?
You didn't mention you need reversible material I used this same technique and when I sewed my front and back innersem I noticed 1 was inside out and the other was proper I defs learnt my lesson xx Love ya vid by the ways
Just to give a little correction, the material she used is not reversible, most fabrics have a wrong side and a right side. There was several instances where she flipped her fabric and put them right sides together to sew, sometimes the right and wrong side of fabrics look almost identical but unless the fabric is qualified as reversible one side will always look different from the other in texture, weave, colour and feel.
Hello, Question I’m using the same fabric but for some reason my needle keeps breaking. Any tips I’m using a j foot I’ve tried zigzag with minimal tension. I’m halfway done with a pair and don’t want to break another needle please help
I'm confused as to how the crotch pieces for the front & back when you sewed them together, ended up looking like the same size when the crotch area on the back is 3 inches longer than the front. I can't figure that part out.
The back waist of the pants is actually shorter than the front (that's why you have to trace the front and back of the shorts for the pattern), but when you line up the front and back waist the crotch length makes them appear even.
ahhhh... the fact you could do a zipper in this particular material... I'm jealous. Still working on regular fabric. :-)
Use a longer needle for thicker/furry fabric!

Whats the paper called youre drawing on
Did you use a straight stitch or a zigzag stitch to sew on the elastic?
What kind of paper is that you are using for pattern?...TIA 🥰

' would this set be one size fits all, would that require a different pattern ?
No it has a guide where you would cut out your size in the pattern. Most of them are S-XL.

Too cute. Very handsome young men. Side note: they get sooooo tall! (And smell worse🤣) I'm almost done 15&18 #collegebound
