We aint all like it! I live for the older stuff, Dream team, 175 crew, Origin Uknown, Dillinja ect. 80% of today's stuff i shit i hate most of the nights the vibes wack they mosh now....Jump up died in 07-08. Been to a many "classic" DNB and jungle nights and its really not what it says on the tin, jungle mania lacks its title now! One of the best sets ive heard in a while was gachet at moondance real rumble rollers, or top buzz at fantazia meets raindance, but thats a whole other world.
Ah, it aint all bad! Some new stuff is quite good, though of course it's different from the old school stuff. Metallica aint Elvis, so to speak. So happy youre uploading these songs though, it's an excellent educational resource to share ;)
CONEKZ3 Well I am 18 and I wish I was born in 80's. Now it's all about neurofunk and jump-up when it comes to darker and harder vibes. However there's always something missing in music these days. Or maybe I am just an old soul who knows 😂
Back when the passion for the music saw them through the shortcomings of the tech available, now everyone just mashes a load of shit together calls it some new blend of some shit that never existed in the first place and we are all supposed to be impressed. Dillinja - That Amen Track Dom and Rolland - Thunder Thank me later! British Douche signing off
When Ed Rush and Optical started their One Nation set with this tune, then mixed in Friday by Capone, and let both basslines roll together... Brings a tear to my eye.
I’ve been listening to this tune for nearly 20 f****** years and I still get emotional every time I hear it. Hardcore will never die Big up all Junglists Amen
This tune came out at a time when DnB was underground. You couldn't find this on RUclips. Nobody knew about it in the mainstream. In fact, nobody would have cared, as these tracks were made by "real" people not for the mainstream at all, made for precisely the opposite. The people who loved this track were part of a thriving niche (but altogether massive) underground subculture who were practically invisible to the masses crawling blindly around in the rat race. These people who hated the system and regular 9-5 structure rebelled by seeking out dark, extremely loud rooms on Friday and Saturday night where they'd get off their faces on drugs often to the point where they were putting their lives in danger, all to get this indescribably, intense rush that came exclusively from dark, moody drum 'n' bass. The only way I can describe that feeling is as a weird juxtaposition of euphoria and danger; toeing the line of chaos and order in order to feel alive in the moment. The heads knew tracks like this, even though they had no lyrics or cheesy, memorable hooks geared to a mass-market now exploited to death by the American EDM boom.
I remember hearing this on a pirate in London and spent the rest of the day searching for it in every dance shop around the city that day to find out was only on dub plate . Got it in the end and it was such a hot piece of vinyl.
Heard this for the first time at Heat & fever late 1999. Ray Keith dropped it and Fuck me that bass almost cracked ribs. Skibba flowing over one of the all time darkest anthems. Fuck im glad i am old enough to have been around the scene before pendulum and cunts like that arrived.
Classic record. I remember the first time I heard this on my DJ Hype and GQ tape live @ Connected in Toronto. Then years later found it in my record store ;)
Not exactly sure why I feel compelled to express the sadness and displeasure I've experienced every time I've had the misfortune of being in a situation in which I was unable to completely block out the boring noises that Deadmau5 considers music.
:war: :tune: this tune was on dub for so long before it came out... I think trace was on a kiss 100 show with bad company and they said the DAT was lost but then a few months later the promos landed. Ive absolutely caned this like no other tune. Just puts a stupid grin on my face every time. Got some mental mixes worked out over the years too 😁
I remember clearly rotating my head, turning almost upside down trying to read the name on the vinyl that Marky was playing when opening one of his nights at the legendary Pulse Club at Goiania - Brasil. Crazy times!!!! This track makes me emotional.
Absolutely luv this track!!! Gotta be in my (dare i say) all time top 10 DnB tracks, this is another prime example of a track that when played out you'd see the proper DnB Heads right up front, head down on one in the zone, that stabbin sub bass totally kills it!!! complete fkr to mix tho from the beginning lol
They don't make them like this anymore this type of drum n bass will make you want kick the neighbours cat alot of this new shit will put you on anti depressants
The youth of today have no idea what drum'n'bass is about, or even where it came from, this is the true pioneering sound of dark dnb, none of this computer game style sounds which is all 4 bars mixing and a rewind i to the next tune. Could proper mix shit like this and make it sound epic and atmospheric😎 miss these dayz.
Big up Lee, an absolute banger to end his set with! A great tragedy that hardware nights don’t run regular anymore. Very sad to think the next night could potentially be another 2 years time.
The new wave of DNB youth will have no idea what this shit was really all about!
We aint all like it!

Agreed mate, I used to listen to the new EDM'y shit like Monstercat and most crap on UKF, then i discovered old school
Ah, it aint all bad! Some new stuff is quite good, though of course it's different from the old school stuff. Metallica aint Elvis, so to speak. So happy youre uploading these songs though, it's an excellent educational resource to share ;)
what was it about so dude? you might aswell educate people instead of just puttin them down
why do you care
30 years in dnb and this is the first time I hear this beauty. Nothing nowadays compares! Properly done to the details.
So ist es!💯
Feel sorry for kids who think they know drum n bass these days, never got to hear all these classics
CONEKZ well Im here now!
😄

You couldn't find it on youtube cause there was no RUclips.
Had their been a youtube, you would have been able to find it.
Trebelustic. Brilliant melody
I remember dropping this one night at a party and the place erupted. An absolute must in any DJ's arsenal.
the type of track you fight a war to.
I remember hearing this on a pirate in London and spent the rest of the day searching for it in every dance shop around the city that day to find out was only on dub plate . Got it in the end and it was such a hot piece of vinyl.
must of been big thrills when you heard a sick as fuuuuck dub you didn't recognize on pirate in London. So underground. What a scene, amazing times.
Yeah the Kool Fm lot had this before everyone of course late 1999/2000. Brockie used to batter this!! This got pulled up in the raves. Classic!!
This one never left my record case. A Smasher!
One of the greatest tunes of all time
Heard this for the first time at Heat & fever late 1999. Ray Keith dropped it and Fuck me that bass almost cracked ribs. Skibba flowing over one of the all time darkest anthems.
Fuck im glad i am old enough to have been around the scene before pendulum and cunts like that arrived.
This will never stop ripping!!
never forget hearing this on a Darren Jay set @ United Dance , skibba absolutely annihilating
Reminds me of a very dark place of Jungle Music. The best Jungle Music. Respect!

The Anthem of my Era! 2000 wha what!!!!
simple dark and effective just the way i like them
I second that simple yet effective. Less is more the best tunes across the board in my opinion have simplicity at there core
shot gives me goose bumps, if you wernt thete, well ...your big bro was and still is , married for life as dnb my wife
So many memories… mate large amounts of Lsd lost in the sound waves… a hidden Coldren of terror aka pleasure
Acid was better back then. Waste of money today.
Not exactly sure why I feel compelled to express the sadness and displeasure I've experienced every time I've had the misfortune of being in a situation in which I was unable to completely block out the boring noises that Deadmau5 considers music.

It was that set that brought me here
Big up Lee, an absolute banger to end his set with! A great tragedy that hardware nights don’t run regular anymore. Very sad to think the next night could potentially be another 2 years time.
I used to mix this a lot with Sub Focus's Smack my bitch up. Was so easy to beat mix you could bring a 3rd vinyl in.
