I feel like the stretched vowels come from Laroi and Justin both not having Native typical American accents but singing with one laroi being much more of an example of this because he is Australian
As a fellow Aussie, he sounds so American to me when he sings. I wonder if it’s because of his influences or if it’s a conscious choose to market himself to a more international audience.
Laroi actually said in an interview that his accent has been going away for the past year. He said he spends so much time in America that he is starting to subconsciously pick up an American accent
@@jamessf31 thanks! I hadn’t read that. It definitely happens, especially when you are younger. My Mum moved to Australia when she was 12. She had a very strong Yorkshire accent. But it was nearly all gone by the time she was in her 20s.
nah it's because when you sing in English it hides your accent that's what talk singing mean for example most British singers sound like Americans because not that they tryna a accent it's because singing makes your accent flow and causes you to sound better, just talk English normaly you will hear your accent but if you sing talk it will hide your accent, it makes sense to me

Yeah he doesn't sound Australian when he sings but I watched an interview with him earlier today and every now and then you could catch the accent
They have the same manager
I mean he's awesome but isnt he still auto tuned for no reason????
Not no reason, it's industry-standard, you can rarely find a live performance video from a major artist that isn't auto-tuned
