J Hope would be too but if you watch closely he slows down around the curves. I only ran track in high school but that's certainly going to hurt your race if you can't hit the turns right. When you watch you will notice he slowed down around the curves rather than leaning into it with his ankles, so he is unable to maintain his top speed. He is the brightest light in the universe, so it only makes sense that if not for this, he would be faster than the speed of light! JK though, you can just tell he is an athletic person and his working out has been great for him.

I respect JK’s sportsmanship. The first couple times he looked back and saw how far ahead he was of everyone then slowed down slightly as he headed toward the finish line. The real revelation was watching Yoongi fly around the track with his very distinctive running style in full effect. 💜

Then, Jungkook who is super competitive, makes sure that Bangtan is ahead of everyone else until the end. 😍

@@MacguffinsTV Also NJ was competing (and we love him to bits but he ain't fast) and neither Tae nor JM ran. JK did put a pretty good lead but then they slowly lost it. So yes, it was probably a mistake to put him first when they didn't really have another spurter in the group.
But in the end it doesn't matter. I'm glad Namjoon and rest got to participate and hopefully they had fun. 💜

Relay is a team work! All runners did their part well! The most difficult part is the start. Only once they did not put Jimin at the start position, and the team lost!

I agree Jimin and Jungkook don’t slow down at all on the curves. some of the other runners are. Plus starting from the outside lane in a staggered start like this was is harder because you can’t see the other lanes till they catch up to you. In the first race you can see Jimin accelerate when the runners to his left catch up.
I do that too. That way you dont need to slow down and can just keep running
YESSS HIS BODY CONTROL IS INSANE I personally think he's the best runner. Thus i also notice jhope automatically controls his movement to slightly slow down when he's running thru the curve so his feet won't slip. I think his steps were the most stable and firm aside from Jimin.

Watching this in 2021 makes the 2015 race so much more memorable and meaningful. BTS was the underdog and was not even mentioned most of the time. They were running steadily at second place, but they never gave up. They ran with passion in their hearts and cheered for each other. With great teamwork, they pushed themselves and each other and emerged as champions, shocking everyone who was watching. Look at where they are today. This really proves that hard work, passion, determination and teamwork make the dreamwork. So proud of BTS! Borahae!

Proud of Jimin as a 1st runner. Haha, I experienced as a 1st runner (400 m sprint) for 3 years at my high school. It's not easy to keep the momentum as Jimin. Plus, i need to finish my 100 m sprint as solo runner after my 400m.. Tbh, the best strategy in sprint when we put the 'fastest' runner at 1st and last, while 2nd and 3rd for runner who can remain the speed while running at the curved/corner.. Know what i mean, right? Sorry for my bad english. 🙏
